You made my point perfectly. If anyone would like to click on the picture thread they will get a clearer picture of his behavior. I certainly did not hound him and of course I checked on him when he went silent. He took his time getting back to me and in an email told me he had a jaw problem from a mountain bike accident. Right after that his car accident thread was posted and there is more of those texts in the thread that Josh was kind enough to post.
I have never had anyone blatantly rip me off so yes this bothered me.

Either thing could have happened. Groink has a reputation for being an arrogant tit, but not a scammer. And there have been serious scams in this board before like kigs.
In the end I think the guy brought it all on himself, he made it way toο easy for everyone to blame him.

What this means is that when "shit hits the fan" hes willing to abandon someone because they are not a real friend (since he only knows them on the internet).
Conversations, email, phone calls, texts does not always mean an actual friendship or someone you can trust, especially when the person (Groink) says that no one on getbig could ever be his friend.

Obviously, it doesn't mean they definitely won't scam you, but it at least gives you a better estimate of their personality.

Shizzo, whether or not someone responds is not the issue on display. Its your behavior (bumping threads). Just because someone responds, it doesn't mean you are not attention-seeking, like you always do. Just because X is true (someone responds), it does not mean Y (your attention seeking behavior) is not true. It still is. In other words, your posting style is now back to where it used to be, and this is not a good thing.
