Woke up this morning and my phone contained a text from a friend, "David Bowie RIP." My heart sank; I was afraid to open the morning papers online for fear it would be true. First Natalie Cole and now Bowie? What a blow! This is going to be a difficult year of artistic losses.
Listening to his music now and actually tearing up. He was a monster talent and way ahead of his time.
I always thought he and Iman were an odd couple, but they seemed to made it work. My heart goes out to her and all his loved ones :'(

Bowie was one of my earliest musical influences. The Man who sold the World, Hunky Dory, and Ziggy Stardust are for me are Bowie at his absolute best. He and Mick Ronson one of the most underrated under appreciated guitarists of all time, made musical magic together. RIP, reunited once again.
