Woke up this morning and my phone contained a text from a friend, "David Bowie RIP."  My heart sank; I was afraid to open the morning papers online for fear it would be true.  First Natalie Cole and now Bowie?  What a blow!  This is going to be a difficult year of artistic losses.
Listening to his music now and actually tearing up.  He was a monster talent and way ahead of his time.

I always thought he and Iman were an odd couple, but they seemed to made it work.  My heart goes out to her and all his loved ones
