Ya. Can't help he has shit genetics. I would never need a guru but if for some weird reason I did he would be in my top five picks.

Honestly, love the guy. I listen to a lot of what he says and have tried it out, saw pretty good results. My legs have always lagged (arms too, but I focused on legs more lately) and his way of splitting leg days into quads and hams really brought them up for me. Along-side intraworkout nutrition and doing pre-exhausts, etc...
I'd hire him in a second if I was gonna compete or was serious enough to pay money for coaching. I feel like guys like him make the best coaches. He doesn't have the greatest genetics, and he was able to put on a ton of size with a lot of physical and health limitations. I feel like if anyone could create a great physique on someone with even decent genetics in John (or someone like John).

Yes. One of the few actual knowledgeable pro's out there (most are all drugs and genetics with no real understanding of training or nutrition on a real level)
Meadows has shit genetics and earned every lb of muscle he has, his physique is decent too he just can't help his messed up midsection from surgery.

(inb4 "hi John"

Probably the best guy to hire! ( had to work twice as hard/ wasn't handed any " genetic gifts") learned thru trial
And error/ not relying on superior genetics ...

The dude works harder in the gym than most I've seen. His training videos are exhausting to watch.

No, simply because he wrote an article titled "Cardio Makes You Fat", in which he, if I recall correctly, stated that moderate intensity cardio makes one fat and that because there are some people doing a lot of cardio but are still fat, then this leads to the genius conclusion that cardio is ineffective for fat loss.

That's like saying that weight training is ineffective for muscle building considering most who weight train look like shit or the same year after year, what is so for the majority of people that go to the gym.

I give him credit though. He has ingenuity and he has managed to amass a following of die-hard jock grabbers that behave as if their best friend is being insulted if you are not slavishly ingratiating of the man.

Example: "How dare you criticize John. He forgets more about bodybuilding than you will ever know! Let's see a picture. Have you won a pro card?!"

It's pretty funny. :)

Actually the people with shitty genetics/talent are the best coaches since they have tried absolutely anything to make it....this apply in every aspect of physical activities  .

WoooSHHHH Jeb has a great heart...He'll be back in 4 years

If the guy has poor genetics he is the man to hire for advice. If he looks the way he does with bad genes, he sure knows how to make the best out of them.

John Meadows seems like a good guy.
Seems to genuinely love his family and what he does.
That means he's good in my book.

Not to criticise but I always find sayings like "he loves his family" "I love my family" or "he genuinely loves his family" as retarded when describing someone's character because it's giving someone credit for shit they should be doing in the first place. Saying someone is a "good family" man makes more sense
