solid lifts, especially considering you arent "huge" ...i was most impressed with your dips
i dont like the way you eccentuate the finish of your deadlifts and the way you do your rows doesnt seem to be using a whole lotta lats ... but both are quite impressive nonetheless

I didn't watch all the clips but you seem to be in good shape. When doing rows I would use a wider grip which would give you more thickness in your mid back. You don't train legs do ya? :-\

yeah i train legs...
but like i already said i sed to pound upperbody way before i ever took leg trainin serious..
i will peel my leg and chest trainin of the cam corder and post em soon...
but hell yes i do train legs... and hard.

You should bend down more when doing rows, you're cheating that way.
Other than that, good form and impressive strength.

and i weigh exactly 190

Good strength, well above average for a recreational lifter. You need more mass in the triceps long head (overhead dumbbell extensions and seated french presses are good for that) and delts could use a little more work. Great biceps and abs. How about wheels?

i pound my tris hard... they are very seperated.. and hard but high inserted i think... i do 160 dumbell tris extensions.. 10 reps.... and i do a lot of seated frech press and... lying skull crushers... my legs are small in comparison to my upperbody... because i never used to train legs but they are strong...

i have a very thick back .. probably cant be seen from the video... but lat width i think needs to be improved...
thing is im a religeuos chinner... i chin at the beginning and the end of my back workout.... i do em weighted
what excercises do you think gives optimum lat width....i do bout under hand and over hand bb rows as well. but bb rows mainly target thickness
gimme a workout that u think will taget lat width exclusively.
this is not to say i dont know how to work out... but i always like to learn new combinations of excercises....

i do as many sets as it takes to obliterate the muscle...

4 sets of deads
4 sets of barbell rows
3 sets of tbar rows
4 sets cable rows
3 sets machine rows
2 sets weighted chins
2 sets regular chins

High volume is working for you but I do better doing much fewer sets.

me i want to feel that muscle hurtin the next day....
high volumn trainin i find gives u "QUALITY" muscle high probaby keeps keeps me lean as well tho i have always been lean..
low volumn trainin does zilch for me...

Well I used to do high volume training but I would get to sticking points too often.
Also my joints would get damaged (tendinitis) every so often. With less sets this doesn't happen and I am making gains faster.
It's working for you so that's all good.

i only het each body part once every week so when i hit it... i have to destroy it.... not only do i get musclular gains... but... strength... and lots of stamina... i train lots of people into the ground... cause i can keep goin on.. and on...

Here's what I do for tris:
Overhead Standing Barbell extensions: 2 warm up sets, 2 heavy sets to failure (I did 135lbs for 9 reps yesterday for the heaviest set)
Weighed Dips: 1 set 90lbs to failure, 5-6 reps maybe
1 arm dumbell extensions with 50lbs dumbell. (5 reps)
That's it.

on preacher curls let our arms go al the way down...the pad in your armpit. dont rock either. makes for a better contraction + shape. youlll need to use lighter weight on it .

no i vary how i do preacher i can pste another clip of me doin them like u said .... with my head down and the bar goin over my head.. on that particular day i was nusrin an injury .. my left arm.. that is not heavy weight to me.. on preachers

but now for eg when i do legs.. there is no way im gonna do shoulders after....
all i want to do after is throw up...
but ocassionally like maybe once a month i will work tris with chest and back with bis..
but usually arms has its own day..

why not rain more often ...say every day...and have smaller groupings. that way they get hit the same amount pre day, but you will hvae more energy to hit the muscles when you do.
my split right now is five day repeating no rest days.....consisting of legs, chest and hams, arms, shoulders and traps, back.

I think it depends on your body type mostly. Endomorphs have big calves usually.

He's probably an ecto-mesomorph. It's very rare you find classic mesomorphs. I myself am probably and endo-meso.

So are up to 4 wheels on the bench?

tried on my final set of bench on monday got it 3 quaters may up... but was taking long to lock it out and
well the guy touched my bar...
so i dont count that
in my eyes.. whch was the last time i tried for a single
so my best bench to date still stands at 374

You should be capable of 405 if you can do 315 for 8...next time go for it...w/o pyramiding up so you're not fatigued. 375 is still a good lift though.

note everything felt heavy from the first set.. you know you have those workout days... when ur not on ur peak

I hear you man, I get days like with little sleep. Next time, try pyramiding like this:
135 x10
225 x 8
315 x 6
365 x 2
405 x 1
That way, you'll still have strength when going for it. by the way, what's up with numbers like 352, 374? Are the plates off or something?

we use kg over here so thats just the rough conversion...

i only know how many reps i do because i ask... or on this ocasion because i recorded it

Good vids man! you have a solid build for the amount of time you have been training. once you can hit 12 reps on 315 you will have 405 easy.
i'd bet that if you changed your form up a little on deadlifts you could pull alot more. get your ass down and drive with your legs first, THEN thrust your hips forward like you do already.
for your bench max try 225x15, 275x3, 335x2, 365x1, then try 405. you are wasting alot of energy with all those reps. just warm up good and do a few assimilation sets before you max. only do this for a max day, your regular training looks great. you do alot of volume but it's obviously working.
Keep up the good work, do alot of front squats to bring those legs up. calves are mainly genetic, i got lucky on that one. my calves are bigger than my upper arms...lol...my dad is the same way.

..to be honest with you man.. i never have max day.. my trainin is always the same in regard to volumn.. when i feel good.. then i might try to to lift more... if it works then i add that as my new notch ...
but i am gonna take your tips.... specially on the bench...
those dips trust me i did on a saturday... the day previously i did arms.. i just did it because my friend begged me to train with him... those arent my best dips...i usually get 4 plates for 10 or close enough..

I got the black screen too, so i loaded codec and nothing. Then after about two minutes it started on its own when i was about to forget it.
