Title: polls.....
Post by: tatoo on August 13, 2016, 04:53:03 AM
I see everywhere that Trump is losing in almost every news poll in key states.... these online polls(facebook ect), tell a different story tho. They show him with a commanding lead...News polls in PA say hes losing by 10 pts.. Yesterday I went to his rally in Erie PA, I watched and waited in 90 degree heat to get in, along with 10,000 other people... I guess I'm having a hard time understanding how he is losing so big with such enormous turnouts to his speaking events??? I know that folks will say that some people just go for the "show" but from what I saw, id say that the majority are serious voters. That alone leaves me to think that these new polls are possibly bias in some ways and not accurate... What do you fellas think??

i think it's because many people attend those rallies because he's exciting and it's a cool part of history.  I'd absolutely go to a trump rally if he was an hour or less from my house, and I dont like him that much.  It's just interesting and something to tell the grandkids.  I wouldn't go to a hilary rally if it was down the street and they paid us to go.

one more observation... every branch of law enforcement was there.. hundreds of them... by far the most courteous, respectful group ive ever seen as far as the way they treated the guests... state troopers, sheriffs, local pd, helping old folks cross the street, pushing wheel chairs, smiling, greeting everyone. not like any "regular" events ive seen where cops are involved in security.

Polls are skewed towards liberals. You think many working class families still own landlines and are listed?

i would think those with landlines are more older/retired, likely to be republican voters.

younger people = less likely to own a landline, be listed.  I don't know many 60 year old Mccain voters that don't own a landline.  I am sure there are many many young libs at college living on trac phones who aren' tgetting called.

The polls are dishonest. I would not believe any of the numbers. The fact that the biased progressive media is publishing this data should make you doubt it automatically. The media has proven time and time again they cannot be trusted. Emails indicate that the media conspired with Clinton to marginalize Sanders.

The media has not earned the right to be trusted and the same goes for those involved with polling. In Germany it is the same thing. Right after the recent terror attacks Der Spiegel posted polls showing Merkel's popularity was up and people did not blame her for the situation. Yet just a few days later other polls came out showing the opposite. And people are blaming her, not like the dishonest media claimed.

The media represents the interests of the globalist elite. Not the average citizens of nations. Nationalism is the enemy to the globalists.

Seniors are more likely to vote Republican according to the polls, just as you said. It is also more likely that seniors still have a landline with a published number. I do and I am a senior. I've submitted to a few phone surveys during this election.

I've done political phone banking in past local elections. Auto dialing software accesses a variety of databases to reach folks, even those with unlisted cell phone numbers. The dialing systems call thousands of numbers a minute. As soon as a human picks up, a live person speaks. It is also possible to only call people who are registered voters, or call just those who voted in the last election. Political calls are not considered telemarketing and are legal regardless of whether you register you phone number on the 'do not call list'.

I was wrong.

Apparently they don't just call landlines anymore and include cell phones.

60% of people under 45 use cell phones strictly. When collecting cell phone data results are skewed as it increases democratic respondents by 11%.

I'm curious as to your source regarding the increase in democratic respondents and the percentage of cell phone users under 45.

Guys, I did a poll this weekend. I called a thousands land lines, and the results are in. Trump wins! 658 people said they would vote for him if the elections was held today. 135 said they were undecided and 207 said they would vote for Clinton.

Just trust me on these numbers. I did the polls and those are my results. See how easy that was???  ;D ;D

Nonsense is always easy. Unfortunately, it is also meaningless. BTW, did you call "thousands" of landlines or did you call a thousand. It's not worth shit when you misreport.  ;D

sure there is.... I guess its more of a question of which states have the most morons come election day.  erie pa has a population of around 100,000 people. he had 10 percent turn out in that arena alone.  another 1-2 thousand outside.  idk brother, lots of morons.

she was very prepared for 2008.  everything in her life was primed for a 2008 win.  it was a change year, so the (R) was going to be out.  She was the de facto choice and in the end, was only 1 state away from taking it from obama.

In 2016, she's not healthy.  She has email scandal, benghazi, etc.  She's old and tired now.  It's a change year, which means the (D) is being pushed out and the (R) is expected to win.

hilary knew all of this.  She knew she would look old and weak next to a focused Rubio/Rand or Jeb/Rubio ticket.  So she decided to stack the deck.

It's funny to me - how many repubs are instantly outraged that Bill Clinton met Lynch in a secret airport meeting where they lied & said they were jut talking about grandchildren for a half our.  Repubs instantly KNEW Bill was putting in the fix.  HOWEVER, when bill calls Trump a week before announcing and admits he told him to 'get more involved in the political process', repubs don't consider that to be tampering, collusion, or clinton in any way stacking the deck.   Same thing.

trump supported hilary in 2008.   if she had beaten obama, and presumably beaten mccain, we all know Trump would still be supporting her today.  Probably sleeping in the lincoln bedroom.  He's a populist opportunist.  Two hundred years ago, Trump would have been the medicine man selling bottle of mystery elixir to cure whatever plague or ailment was sweeping through the village that year.

Trump isn't the culprit here.  You conservatives and GOP have gotten so entrenched in the blame syndrome with Obama you can't even OWN UP to the fact that YOU are the ones that nominated him.

What's really SAD is that in an election when virtually anyone could beat Hillary you nominated the only one that likely can't.

This is what 8 years of blaming and blocking OB for the stupidest shit sometimes has gotten the GOP, they nominated a retard (Had Hillary been who she is now when McCain or Romany were running it would have been a LANDSLIDE!!!!!) and now we are gonna end up with a Crook.

And you have to wonder if the GOP will lose senates seats as a result of some of the senators having to tip toe on whether or not they endorse Trump.

Obama deserves to be blamed for a lot.

but the reaction to Obama wasn't to choose a fiscally responsible, conservative candidate to stop the nanny state.

Rather they pretty much just picked the canddiate who was meanest to brown people.   Trump hates muslims.  Trump says judges can't be fair if their parents were mexican.  Trump says to "say hello to my african-american over there".

I don't know if we've ever seen a candidate who flirts with trashing other races this much.  Just winks to his base, but he knows what he is doing.  Seeing how many getbiggers will drop a racial slur without blinking tells me Trump knows the base well.

Just say, out loud, that you believe "fire + a single filed beam caused a pancake collapse which resulting in the powderization of a 47 story building in about ten seconds".

then say you don't hear a series of bangs in Ashleigh Banfield's live broadcast as it came down.

Then say you are smarter than the dozens of scientists who believe explosives were used.   Oz, wait... do you still believe no explosives were used that day?   Are you still the sole, lone, isolated diehard that truly believes jet fuel, fire and gravity did it all that day?

I gotta get your autograph, buddy.  Everyone cheers for the 1st person across the finish line, but I always admire the last.   Sticktoitiveness, and whatnot.

Holograms from helicopters circling the WTC's included as per your expert analysis of low res you tube vids.

I see what you did there.

You decided to graduate the argument from 'explosive residue' to "holograms".

You introduced a very far-out theory to discount the one that over 6000 architect and scientists believe, which is that explosives were used that day.

Imagine using this in real life.  My wife catches me in bed banging her best friend, and my best defense is to ask her if she believes in space aliens too.   My boss catches me stealing from the till and my defense is to accuse him of being a hitler sympathizer.  It works on small minded people, i suppose, can't blame you for trying, but these days I'm an old man and like the rest of the world, I don't bother arguing it.  Any explosive that day beyond what was in the fuel tanks of the airplanes, completely sodomizes the version you believe.  And there's a shitload of phds who have looked at the residue and found things which aren't there without explosives.

Go ahead, respond with something about the holocaust, I think that's usually next on the bullshit avoidance protocol ;)

There is no way he should have been the nominee with the way he conducted himself, but it worked.  And he just might be elected president.  It's bizarre.

One thing it's not, however, is some stupid conspiracy theory that no one can really articulate.  Not in a sensible way.

No you missed it.  but then again, you are a CT'er which history has proven to me are usually incapable of critical thought.

I pointed out the hologram theory to illustrated how far out let yourself get.

BTW, off subject from this derailment, have you watched Zero Days yet?

There is a lot of truth in what you are saying here.

I admit, I am dumbfounded by it in so many ways.

it's been ten years man.  Ten years.

Long abandoned are the CTs about Iraq, and we're just about at the point where nobody even argues the US govt is feeding the enemy it's perpetually fighting.

If you want to "point out how far I can go" when I'm only going to a little, fairly reasonable point.... well, that's just silly.

You don't think I'm capable of critical thought?   I don't even know how to respond to that.   You have spent a decade regurgitating the same NIST propaganda which thousand of experts have said is poppycock.   You look at WTC7 and you see a normal collapse that we always see with fire + 1 failed beam... the result being your standard powderization of an entire skyscraper to dust + molten metal in about ten seconds.

That shit is normal to you.  That shit is explainable and par for course and exactly to be expected.

See, I get why you have to "show how far out I can get" - because when I talk about 1 event of the day, in line with the scientific analysis of a lot of engineers and architects, you can't handle that.  NISt report ain't helping.  So talk about choppers and holograms.

I never thought the day would come when I've outgrown the bullshit 911 arguing, but I guess this is it.  Anyone who believes the official story is a dunce.  A fucking dunce.  An obvious idiot with either their pants or their skulls full of shit.  The world knows it, I know it, fcking donald trump knows it lol...

ten years is long enough to entertain any discussion of the 'official story'. believe it if you want.  I did fine not falling into 911 arguments on getbig for a few years now, and there's no way I'm getting dragged back into it now lol.

Believe what you want, I'll believe what I want.  Peace.

Yet here you are still engaging in it.   ::)

Lets talk about this move "Zero Days"  Have you seen it yet?

Zero Days:

Quote
Gibney started out to make a film about the Stuxnet computer virus, which reportedly was used in a destructive attack on Iran’s nuclear program by the security agencies of the U.S. and Israel, even though no official in either country will acknowledge that such a thing ever existed. But the filmmaker ended up being propelled into two much larger stories, which are intertwined and till now have had very little purchase on public consciousness.

The first is the existence and mounting peril of cyber warfare. As “Zero Days” shows, this form of cryptic aggression is already highly developed, in the possession of numerous governments as well as non-state actors, and currently employed in various surreptitious ways around the world. Yet it’s a weapon whose destructive potential has only been glimpsed till now. In a cyber world war, millions could be killed in very short order as national infrastructures are decimated and havoc wreaked technologically. It’s enough to make old-fashioned nuclear war seem benign in comparison.

The film’s second great subject is the secrecy that surrounds the first and prevents citizens and their governments from discussing it, much less doing anything about it. Gibney doesn’t explore how much this is a result of post-9/11 paranoia and security measures, and how much simply a product of a decades-long growth in government secrecy, which climaxed with the Obama administration’s unprecedented war on whistle-blowers. But the film shows that even some of the nation’s highest-ranking secret keepers now think the policies have been taken too far, and indeed increase rather than reduce the dangers posed by cyber warfare.

Sounds to me like they're referring to a shut-down of the grid and other things.

I just watched it on on demand through xfinity.  You might be able to get it on Amazon or through redbox.

Its a documentary about the Stuxnet virus the US and Israel implanted into the Iranian centrifuges in 2008-2010

Its pretty fascinating  and shows how it influenced the Iran Nuclear Treaty.

Zero Days:

Its really mostly about stuxnet and how it was discovered, used and was screwed up by Israel.  Its does talk about the emergence of Cyber war and how the President along with nuclear attack has to directly authorize any cyber attacks.  It also does talk about the ability to shut down grids.....  and Zeus  :o.

I Highly recommend it 240 and LV.  Its just the kind of stuff you guys would like.

Yes, this is very serious and I hope and pray it isn't a situation due to happen.  Only for our leaders to go "oops" and not a single American official is held accountable.

Wouldn't you know.  Just read that some very powerful software or code of some sort was hacked and may now become "loose".
