polls.....
« on: August 13, 2016, 04:53:03 AM »
I see everywhere that Trump is losing in almost every news poll in key states.... these online polls(facebook ect), tell a different story tho. They show him with a commanding lead...News polls in PA say hes losing by 10 pts.. Yesterday I went to his rally in Erie PA, I watched and waited in 90 degree heat to get in, along with 10,000 other people... I guess I'm having a hard time understanding how he is losing so big with such enormous turnouts to his speaking events??? I know that folks will say that some people just go for the "show" but from what I saw, id say that the majority are serious voters. That alone leaves me to think that these new polls are possibly bias in some ways and not accurate... What do you fellas think??

i think it's because many people attend those rallies because he's exciting and it's a cool part of history.  I'd absolutely go to a trump rally if he was an hour or less from my house, and I dont like him that much.  It's just interesting and something to tell the grandkids.  I wouldn't go to a hilary rally if it was down the street and they paid us to go.

one more observation... every branch of law enforcement was there.. hundreds of them... by far the most courteous, respectful group ive ever seen as far as the way they treated the guests... state troopers, sheriffs, local pd, helping old folks cross the street, pushing wheel chairs, smiling, greeting everyone. not like any "regular" events ive seen where cops are involved in security.

Polls are skewed towards liberals. You think many working class families still own landlines and are listed?

i would think those with landlines are more older/retired, likely to be republican voters.

younger people = less likely to own a landline, be listed.  I don't know many 60 year old Mccain voters that don't own a landline.  I am sure there are many many young libs at college living on trac phones who aren' tgetting called.

The polls are dishonest. I would not believe any of the numbers. The fact that the biased progressive media is publishing this data should make you doubt it automatically. The media has proven time and time again they cannot be trusted. Emails indicate that the media conspired with Clinton to marginalize Sanders.

The media has not earned the right to be trusted and the same goes for those involved with polling. In Germany it is the same thing. Right after the recent terror attacks Der Spiegel posted polls showing Merkel's popularity was up and people did not blame her for the situation. Yet just a few days later other polls came out showing the opposite. And people are blaming her, not like the dishonest media claimed.

The media represents the interests of the globalist elite. Not the average citizens of nations. Nationalism is the enemy to the globalists.

Seniors are more likely to vote Republican according to the polls, just as you said. It is also more likely that seniors still have a landline with a published number. I do and I am a senior. I've submitted to a few phone surveys during this election.

I've done political phone banking in past local elections. Auto dialing software accesses a variety of databases to reach folks, even those with unlisted cell phone numbers. The dialing systems call thousands of numbers a minute. As soon as a human picks up, a live person speaks. It is also possible to only call people who are registered voters, or call just those who voted in the last election. Political calls are not considered telemarketing and are legal regardless of whether you register you phone number on the 'do not call list'.

I was wrong.

Apparently they don't just call landlines anymore and include cell phones.

60% of people under 45 use cell phones strictly. When collecting cell phone data results are skewed as it increases democratic respondents by 11%.

I'm curious as to your source regarding the increase in democratic respondents and the percentage of cell phone users under 45.

Guys, I did a poll this weekend. I called a thousands land lines, and the results are in. Trump wins! 658 people said they would vote for him if the elections was held today. 135 said they were undecided and 207 said they would vote for Clinton.

Just trust me on these numbers. I did the polls and those are my results. See how easy that was???  ;D ;D

Lol ok. Having crowds is better than no crowds. Let's face it, the dishonest media cannot be trusted with anything they print or broadcast.

Nonsense is always easy. Unfortunately, it is also meaningless. BTW, did you call "thousands" of landlines or did you call a thousand. It's not worth shit when you misreport.  ;D

All trump could talk about when he was up was all the polls.   Now all the same polls are biased.

sure there is.... I guess its more of a question of which states have the most morons come election day.  erie pa has a population of around 100,000 people. he had 10 percent turn out in that arena alone.  another 1-2 thousand outside.  idk brother, lots of morons.

Right?  And the silly thought about "Trump has more online attention than Hillary, a sign he will win in a landslide"... Ask President Ron Paul about that one :(

I see him pulling out possibly.  1 on 1 - he has not much to say.  Maybe he does show up and spit out cliches and some baseless meaningless stuff, who knows.  He is not informed enough to bverbally dissect Hillarys' flood of lies and deceit on the fly.

I'm really pissed off at what this election is as that disgusting pos and criminally minded bitch belongs in prison for life  .

she was very prepared for 2008.  everything in her life was primed for a 2008 win.  it was a change year, so the (R) was going to be out.  She was the de facto choice and in the end, was only 1 state away from taking it from obama.

In 2016, she's not healthy.  She has email scandal, benghazi, etc.  She's old and tired now.  It's a change year, which means the (D) is being pushed out and the (R) is expected to win.

hilary knew all of this.  She knew she would look old and weak next to a focused Rubio/Rand or Jeb/Rubio ticket.  So she decided to stack the deck.

It's funny to me - how many repubs are instantly outraged that Bill Clinton met Lynch in a secret airport meeting where they lied & said they were jut talking about grandchildren for a half our.  Repubs instantly KNEW Bill was putting in the fix.  HOWEVER, when bill calls Trump a week before announcing and admits he told him to 'get more involved in the political process', repubs don't consider that to be tampering, collusion, or clinton in any way stacking the deck.   Same thing.
