These fools need to come take their medicine. I dropped out too, figuring having to keep argue and be stalked by them was useless, but where are the "Trump is a plant for Hillary" fools like 240IsFat? In ink there was another one named TuHolmes?
-
I disappeared for a while because I didn't need the bullshit. I am not really back as my life is a bit too hectic but keep on having fun with Trump.

The OG returns. Hope all is well.

Hillary cancelled his pay per post contract over a month ago.
-
240 probably offed himself by now.
-
All the great minds like 240 have stumbling blocks and pitfalls. A minor setback for him.

you were worried Hilary was going to take your guns...

Any word on 240? Did you just let that account disappear or something? Or did something happen to him?

Most of the liberals that would post on here on a regular basis have bailed. Lurker, Andre, AD, Bay, etc not to mention the others that either didn't vote or that were against Trump, bailed. Someone posted a Tim Fogarty tweet something about how depressed he was and couldn't get out of bed.

He informed Ron that he was taking a break from getbig. This was probably over 4-5 weeks ago, even before Trump won.

25 Trump posts a day. ::)
-
Nobody takes a break from 25 posts a day.....I'm not buying it.
-
you were worried Hilary was going to take your guns...
She would have. Your guns got taken away real quick after a shooting. They would have done the same here.
Come to find out 72 percent of people in the UK want their guns back now. I hope you guys get them back.

Chaos, do you think something happened to 240?

Someone on another thread speculated he was now "StrawMan"

Seems to have coincided with reported timing of NYPD discovering the Weiner emails

It's just too overwhelming at the moment, even for a lib like me who wants to comment. There probably is some licking of the wounds, but there are just so many threads. And the celebration is not limited to being happy a candidate won. It was a close election in terms of the popular vote and Trump supporters were prepared for a loss (and to blame that loss on the establishment and vote rigging), but now anyone who wasn't a Trump supporter has no credibility to even speak or speculate. .. because you can only have an opinion on politics if your candidate wins... as we observed on this board for the last eight years. ::)

Overwhelming because you now realize how much bullshit and lies you believed which were not true and now you are having to question why you supported them or thought they were true. Its an evaluation of yourself just as much as anything and why you perpetuated lie after lie after lie.
-
I don't gloat in real life, so talking as much shit as possible on here is good for my health. Not good to keep all that winning bottled up inside.

Not at all. As I addressed in my last post, it's actually bizarre how Trump supporters feel that his winning the election turns opinion into fact. Do you honestly believe that I regret not voting for him because he won? Of course not. It's idiotic to suggest.

Its ok. You were lied to and you did not know any better. I understand. It will take time for you to heal and realize this, but when you do, there will be a seat waiting for you on the Trump Train! America First!

I have never been able to "get" why people put so much of their daily lives into worshipping/reviling some appointed political leader(political, not daily life) that they have never met, will never sit down and have a beer/coffee with,, nor will never be in this person interpersonal life outside their job...yes Their Job.
I mean for FFS do you people go home at noght after school and/or work worrying about what your boss/teacher or your children's teacher/boss is doing because you or they spend the majority of their day with them.
Wake up people, no matter who is in so called power, you still are going to get up, eat, shit and do whatever your day entails. You turn all your power over to these people by focusing on what they are doing every minute of the day rather than focusing on what you should be doing.
Did you not have a great man who once said 'ask not what your country what it can do for you, but what you can do for your country" ?
Chattering about this shit gets nothing done, living life to your fullest does

For me politics, is for self defense, against big government. So my only choice was Trump, over the Socialist Democrat Party, and their worthless candidate Hillary.
-
to further add how much this is all a sham, over 2 billion dollars was raised and spent on just 2 candidates, plus probably another couple of billion that was spent collectively on the other levels of government who run in elections as well.
2 billion dollars for 2 people in an election? Imagine what good that 2 billion could have really been use for.
People actually paying people 2 billion dollars to two individuals to audition for a job that pays $500,000 a year.
-
Where are you 240? I want to taste your tears. They will only ripen with age.

Because, it sets the tone of the country, the zeitgeist as it were. If you are too stupid to realize this, then nothing is going to help you. Besides, Trump will bring back "Made in America", bank on it. America makes the absolute best things when we make them, we just have had policies for a long time that put a stop to that. Time for America First for a change.

I actually am glad Trump won, but I have spent the past several days at school with several snowflakes who are annoying the fuck out of me, I cant invade their safe space ::), and I live in Toronto which makes this even more stupid
That was the jist of my post, the post election over-crying etc

Still defending your love for Hillary. You voted for trash and you continue to defend it. You are still the half of America that is without morals, decency, or independent thought.

What happened in NH? I was expecting a Trump win, there. Seems like there's a migration from Vermont.

Have two women in my office that's been away on sick leave since Trump won.
One is under medical treatment for depression and the other refusing all contact with the office at this stage.
People are struggling out there. A little understanding would go a long way.

I'm trying to help, for God sakes. These people are obviously in a state of deep despair. The least I can do is suggest coping strategies:
Look at that fella. He could cheer anybody up:

I'm not sure what medicine I'm supposed to take?
I didn't vote for Trump, but I didn't vote for Hillary either, so I'm a bit confused as to what "medicine" there is for me.
I was gone for a bit, sure... Some related to the over abundance of politics in general, some just life. As you are all aware, I have been involved in the largest launch for EA in the history of the company and have also been taking on some new responsibilities at the studio.
Go buy Battlefield 1, you'll love it.
Back to the topic.
Do I like Trump? Not particularly, but it's mostly because there are a lot of emboldened racists who latched onto the rhetoric he was saying. I think I have always been quite honest in how I felt about that. However, there are some things about Trump that I do agree with.
I support The President of The United States of America. I support the position and I support the person who holds the office.
I have always done so, even if I thought the person was a complete idiot, like GWB.
I do not have a problem with Trump, but I think a lot of the supporters of his who believe that things are just going to magically go their way are going to be in for an awakening when they realize that the candidate Trump is not the President Trump.
Time will tell.
Good for the people in the middle of the country to come out and support something, they needed it, and I support their right to choose and to make their own decisions. I hope it works out for them, but so far, the stock market rallies have been all banks and financial institutions believing that regulations will be lifted.
As far as for the Democrats, they got what they deserved. They buried Bernie and they pushed Hillary when she had no redeeming quality for their party. She was tainted goods and that's that. Add on to that, the fact that everyone is sick of the PC bullshit that has been pushed down everyone's throats, and you have a recipe for backlash.
Did I believe Trump would win, nope... but then most people didn't, even those that wanted it to happen, but he won, I support his win, I support the President, I support the country, and most of all I support the citizens who made their choice.
I want nothing but success for everyone in the nation.

You know TU, there's fun to be had admitting you voted for Hillary!
BF1 heh? I'm still waiting for a dodgy copy to appear on torrent sites. Assuming they're using Denuvo again?

candidate Trump is not the President Trump.
This, as with pretty much every elected candidate. Take a hard stand while running and compromise after winning.

Trump is not most candidates though and does not kowtow to anyone. I think you will be surprised. He is in the mold of James Polk. Set an agenda, gather resources needed, execute agenda.
No games, no bullshit.

Next people will be claiming full disability benefits because of Trump.

Not really sure how you correlate not posting 3 weeks before the election into Hillary Butthurt.
Actually, I'm not really sure what this post above means at all.
Yes, I haven't posted since the 21st.
Just so happens to coincide the public launch of the game I've spent the last 2 years working on? That's a much more realistic and factual correlation.
Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is the fifteenth installment in the Battlefield series, and the first main entry in the series since Battlefield 4. Wikipedia
Initial release date: October 21, 2016
I probably wouldn't have posted today, but someone mentioned this thread to me.

I think so. It's a little slower than Call of Duty. CoD is run and gun, but our latest Battlefield goes back to World War 1 and is quite fun. (Not completely historically accurate)
I think if you like shooting things, it's a great game to play. I'm not really a shooter guy myself, but even I play this a lot right now.
I haven't had this much fun with a shooter since Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam Expansion

As long as it's not that first person view where the whole screen goes up and down....shit makes me seasick.

It doesn't do that in this one... We turned that way down so you don't get that motion sickness feel. Games that go overboard with that get me too, but I can actually play this.
Still can't watch other people playing because my brain wants to be in control, but I can play it without any queesy feeling myself.
I still recommend sitting about 10 ft away from a 55 inch TV to play just to be safe.

In Tu's defense it's basically cliche the scene of these computer tech guys pounding massive amounts of coffee and Mountain Dew while cranking out 18 hour days finishing up these types of projects.
Doubt he had much time to dedicate to arguing with the rest of us assholes on here.

Actually, I didn't post many times a day like a maniac about Trump, and when and if I did, I mostly kept to the Politics board, where it belonged. Unlike this posting of stupidity on the G&O.
You must have me confused with someone else.
Also, that is not a correlation at all. Like I said, I have been dealing with a game launch that is taking even now, a lot of my time, and why I am even entertaining this is mind boggling.
3 weeks before the election, when every poll had Hillary winning, and someone doesn't post, then that has something to do with the election?
Your mind works very oddly if you see that.
Why would I apologize for polls? I didn't generate the poll, I doubt you could find more than 2 or 3 times I even referenced the polls.
The only poll I ever posted about was the LA Times poll in and of itself because of the interesting way they did the model, so I specifically posted 1 article related to that.
I started that one singular thread.
Apologize?! HAHAHAHAHA!!!
You must be a sad person to think that someone will apologize for mentioning one poll in the politics board. I think I posted one graph about the 1980 election too.
Oh no... TWO... TWO POLLS.

You have got Tu all wrong. He didn't rail against Trump for months on end. His posts followed the various news cycles and he would pop in every now and again. As far as his politics go, he is what I would call pretty much a Libertarian who recognizes that both sides have faults and pluses. He is not one of those hard line Anti-Trumpers nor was he supportive of Hillary in all her corruption.
I can confirm 100 percent he was busy with EA and the new release. I don't think Tu was forecasting anything definite. I can tell you, he definitely was not a die hard Hillary supporter.
