Nether Animal's great threads which actually include very on point bodybuilding related photos inspired me to make this thread.
I'll start with the originator - Kidney-Colon-Dead.jpg featuring Flex Wheeler, Mike Francois, and Andreas Munzer.

I suspect we can get a few more of these if we scour the internet.
The interesting thing about Kidney-Colon-Dead.jpg, is that it sort of originated this trend, and for a while, it was the only prominent example. Not anymore. :-\

Sadly, yes. He died in February of 2013, slightly before Nasser died. He was only 40.
I recall someone saying he had an opiate addiction, so it may have been an overdose. I read that a heart attack was the cause of death, so I am not exactly clear of all the details. I think opiates are relatively nontoxic, but I also think they allow bodybuilders to mask pain and side effects and do volumes of drugs that they otherwise could not get away with.

I heard Duvall had a pill problem, yes. And once you are an established addict it is actually pretty difficult to OD on them, it isn't like heroin where you don't know what you are taking.
I actually expected this to be posted here, because this fits the bill as a "cryptic" picture. Was there ever confirmation that this actually was Munzer?

Was wondering the same thing. This picture has been around for a while supposedly showing Munzer's autopsy but the face is not visible and without any further confirmation.

That's a good question. It may well be a competitive bodybuilder based on the mass of the body, but I am also unsure if that actually is Munzer.

Most drug abusers that I trained with in the late 80's and 90's have some type of kidney and/or liver issues now. A few are dead.

These bodybuilders are the reason why I lowered the doses and became a health nut only eating organic and taking plenty of herbs, take two months off from everything once a year and during that time detox the body and do some fasting this will help to make you a mass monster without dying.

Good one! In the same year to boot, and that was after a falling out they had, as a result of Nasser's articles where he disparaged Greg. To Greg's credit, there was no denying that he was anything but hospitable to Nasser when he stayed at his house, I believe in December 1995.

Yes, I think they should be included. Especially when it relates to 3 of 4 competitors. :-\
Around 2000 to 2005, I asked - regarding steroids - "Where are the bodies?"
I guess that question has since been answered.

Hm...I'm reminded of the time you mentioned there was a Master's competition where the competitors were passing around either meth or speed to get shredded last minute. Were you referring to Hans? No need to share if you aren't comfortable with that. Just wondering.

Its not called the death stack for no reason... There is a huge difference from gym rats running a bit gear to these crazy fuckers slamming grams, and still people question the outright abuse that it takes

Muscle Mayhem didn't help matters. Anyone who pointed out that the competitive bodybuilding lifestyle could be toxic was immediately banned. That created a huge amount of group-think on that board.

While searching the interwebz for pics of Nimrod for that 'where is he now?' thread this pic stood out for two reasons: 1 - the juxtaposition of the fellas in question, and 2 - would you look at those intercostals/serratus!! :o

I don't think that is him. Munzer died right after competing right? He would have shaved his pubic area before donning the thong. That corpse seems to have some pubic hair on him.

Addicts usually only when they've been clean for a while and relapse and you lose close to the amount they were using when they were on full blast.
Not sure where he died in Vegas or I thought he was in the Massachusetts area butt open New England a lot of the heroin and what not it is laced with fentanyl and causes a lot of id's. Back when I was using 6 grams a day of black tar heroin from Mexico a buddy of mine show me a half gram of China White which is just gotten when he returned from New York... I shot less than a quarter gram of it intramuscular and OD'd on that whatever these two shooting a gram at a time at least of the Black tar shit.
Shooting shit in your veins is rough on the kidneys. Bad kidneys= shit is going downhill fast.
