Wow dude! WTF? Hoping someone dies soon and you don't even know the guy. I do know him unlike you. He used to be very arrogant and quite ego driven back in the day. Not like that at all now, let's just say life has matured him over the years and he's actually a really pleasant guy to be around now.

Multiple reasons.... Blood pressure #1 plus you kidneys filter ever thing in your bloodstream.
Analogy... Think of a syringe filter, you can only put so much shit through them before they're "full" and/or blow a hole. (Which is why I use vacuum filters lol... Even then 1000ccs of 300mg test and they're toast... Usually after 700ccs.. Esp if you're running 12+ psi)

Flex said in his book that he was sick way back in 93. And this was right after a contest, and also he liked pizza. Pizza is high in sodium due to the cheese, among other things. He was also hospitalized in the mid 90s for kidney issues. High sodium+Hypertension+ +bodybuilding lifestyle+bodybuilding diet+diuretics+roids+genetic predisposition= Disaster or death.

I think it's more abuse of diuretics. When I interviewed Cormier, he said Flex would cheat on his diet and then have to take diuretics to get rid of the water.

I believe all the kidney problems stem from high blood pressure. Further it spikes even further when lifting. Another problem is the kidneys filter the blood and it clogs trying to get the oil out of your body. Bros think it's only made out of vegetable oil and it's harmless. A little oil on your salad is okay after it runs through your digestive system is great. Pumping it directly into your body and your body has to remove it from your system. Can you imagine the damage? It shouldn't be in your blood stream.
Bodybuilding is the most insane sport. Guys want to look like they can kick ass and intimidate men. They want compliments on being such a manly man. Then they take risks to health to achieve that. Want to take care of your fragile small ego? Lift natural and do a lot cardio. A couple nights a week take a jui jitsu or boxing instruction. You won't look like a posing bodybuilder but you will be fit, healthy and able to kick ass for real.

Always has. Some of us jiatbsont have the fibers there in some body parts. I remember when he first came on the scene and a big knock on his physique was his chest was considered "concave" (the grammer in what i just wrote. Doesnt sound right... Whatever. I'm going onn2hrs sleep. Lol)

I always thought the opposite. Ronnie came Outta nowhere and made a huge huge transformation in 98 at the NOC and then again duplicated it and improved for the 98 Mr Olympia... Plus I think Flex camei in way way better in 99 than he did in 98, especially after seeing what Ronnie did in 98 the year previous.

Flex was at his best at the 98 Arnold. He couldn't duplicate that condition at the O, and we all know what happened. There.

That's what I have always heard, yet I have never actually seen any decent photos of him at that contest... And by a decent I mean photos that were super fucking dark from the city Lighting on stage that year. With everybody look blue or purple
