Games are never permanent. If you're not giving the body a reason to carry all that muscle it won't carry it, as well as if you don't feed your body enough hormones and food it won't grow

Eh, will play the other side on this and say:

#1 he's still alive

#2 he's still lean and working out even with all the injuries

#3 he's still making $$$ off that body

#4 he's a little delusional but seems happy

"Although the use of synthol by bodybuilders supplies them with the desired short-term effects, the compound progressively destroys the injected muscle. Users are frequently drawn to synthol as it does not share the side effects of androgenic anabolic steroid hormones. However, our case study demonstrates that, despite these perceived advantages, synthol can also have severe and potential life-threatening consequences for its users"- https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3459719/ (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3459719/)

Just wait till they start using stem cells to resuscitate receptors and nerve damage. Ronnie will be the first 60-year-old repeat Mr. Olympia!

Somewhat unfortunate that the cartilage growth in the nose, hands and feet doesn't subside when exogenous GH is withdrawn... look out for these points to become 'noticeable' as muscle levels back down to normal in these guys...

He's a perfect storm of all the excesses/abuse in professional bodybuilding. Nerve damage, drug/hormone "kick back", structural deterioration and destruction, etc.

Coleman's current physical condition is less age and much, much more that stated above.

As Ray so succinctly stated, what made Ronnie, broke Ronnie.

He achieved muscle glory and walked the planet a true freak but will now live out the remainder of his life a wreck.

Was it worth it? Only he can know.

With his cervical and lumbar fusions he really shouldn't be doing anything over head to begin with. I'm older then him with cervical and lumbar injuries and have no muscle wasting. I've also avoided surgery by working out in ways to avoid further damage and to strengthen spinal support muscle groups.

He literally broke his last lumbar fusion screw doing things he shouldn't have been doing.

My caloric intake varies but I'm not competing and have posted plenty of pics on under 2k calories. Also as one ages its best to keep calories lower.

I have 3 damaged discs in my spine, L4/L5 and thoracic disc
I work around them , I manage to maintain a pretty decent year round look and remain relatively injury free, in fact I have only tweaked my back once in the gym in the last 5 years , I have had several twinges resulting in spasms from doing general household stuff.
I don't do any exercises bending over and all my dumbbell work for delts and arms is done seated.

That must drive him crazy to see his body shrivel up like that. I would end up in a physc ward if I had to go through all that.

How can somebody hurt their backs doing light leg press, leg extensions and rubber bands you must be more fragile than a snow flake, dont move around too much we dont want you hurting yourself.
