Id consider the Olympia since LV is close
Would you go if you had to fly?
How else is he gonna meet up by Mirage Ice Machine 7 on Olympia weekend?
why do you keep telling us your location....
Really? You've been kicking around the iron game for as long as I and never went to a pro show?Of course I competed the Masters Nats and the NABBA Nats about 5-6 times a piece but the biggest show I attended when I lived back in Mass. was the Jr. USA in Hartford Ct.
THAT got my attention.
Sounds ironic, but when I was competing, I rarely went to pro shows.
Unless a pro/national level was within driving distance, I didn't go.
Back then, I couldn't afford the travel, LOL.
BUT seriously, for me and perhaps YOU, bodybuilding was about the level I competed at.
Pros were great, but I didn't think it related to my BB life.
I read all the mags , admired the pro physiques , and that was about it.
When I hung up the trunks, I started being a LOT more active fan of pro BB.
That's dropped off bunch since 2008. Hmmmm?
I believe Jim is still around this area...Thanks bud,he`s a good dude.

I've been involved with bodybuilding since Pumping Iron first came out in the 1970's.
But, I stopped attending pro shows 9 years ago in 2008.
I considered going to this years Arnold Classic ( Columbus, OH) but lacked the motivation.
I recently looked into buying tickets and attending the April 22-23 Europa weekend in Charlotte, NC.
Sad to say, I'm just not inspired to spend the time and $$ to attend.
Maybe it's just me and I've drifted too far away from competitive bodybuilding?
Your thoughts on attending pro BB events? ???
The Europa sucksTheir prices to businesses suck!
I have a NSCA CSCS, they sponser all the events and local shows here , blast you with supplements (that they sell) but tote themselves as 'experts' because 'we don't sell directly to the public , only to gyms and businesses, so we have nothing but scientific knowledge backing out claims ' /ghey
3strint pros , goin for shit prize money thrown together by those exact companies that don't want to spend too much on advertising ? Charlotte isn't exactly a Mecca for bodybuilding , uptown sucks if you're a big dude , shitty ass was workout at the epicenter golds gym , $800 for food and a room for the weekend , and you didn't even see any top tier pro
There isn't even a top notch pro coming out of NC in a long time
You're one punch-worthy person. Youvtalk ibcessantly about shit you don't like. How about you disassociate yourself altogether. No one needs a resentful, washed-up has-been-that-never-was! It's a good thing you don't attend.Punch Worthy Person Of Peace LOL :D
To answer your question I've been going to the NY Pro since '99, when it was called the Night of Champions.
GTFO!
Punch Worthy Person Of Peace LOL :D
All this fucking guy does here is talk about shit he doesn't do. It's fucking strange. He doesn't wanna compete anymore and questions why he did. He doesn't wanna attend shows, so he doesn't. He didn't wanna have kids, so he didn't have them, and then goes on to comment about other men raising kids and are not walking around in constant leisure and smiling like he is. Maybe he doesn't realize raising kids is fucking tiring sometimes and tired men aren't Mr. Personality talking shit on a forum about what he doesn't like and how his wives left him.BBSSchlemiel, shake hands with Howard! LOL :D
