Lyle Mickey Dee, Alan Aragon, Mike Israetel, Ben Pakulski... all nothing special.
Keep quoting them as if they're gods with special knowledge. You don't have to.
-
Agreed. All roids and diuretics
-
Aragon is a very cool name, too bad he is just some low level Asian turd
-
A bunch of tools trying to turn eating into a science project when it really comes down to a few simple guidelines. The rest of it comes down to how well you execute.

Ben "Buff" Affleck seal of approval.

Chris actually knows what to do and doesn't run around acting like he has special info. He's just competent.

Yes....at least Aceto truly was a solid competitor in the late 80's AAU.
-
^^^ is that arm even 16 inches?
-
It depends... It sure helps when someone has a critical eye, but you don't necessary need a coach for that. Most gyms don't know shit about contest preps.

While typing all this nonsense, you seem to have a good time..

What I find hilarious is people who pay Charles Glass thousands of dollars to make up silly exercises on the fly.
-
George Farrah is da best, dude was shot as a drug dea....0i mean police officer in New York, he was definitely a police officer why would he lie about that, he da best trainer there is.
-
Gurus are not worthless - they are there to provide information and to help you in knowledge, and help motivate and build you to where you desire to be.
Of course, you need to find the right one because of these 'gurus' spew out nonsense or give out the same info to different competitors, which does not work.
For every competitor that praises a guru, there a lot that complain a ton about them too, and how they screwed them out or did not do what they said they would.
So like any coach, any teacher - you need to find the right one, and if it doesnt feel right, get rid of that person until you find one that makes sense. Which is not easy.

You aren't smart. You're not a narcissist. You're a resentful little worm who can't accept his position in life.

Charles does all these fancy exercises and unorthodox use of machines, probably dreamed up in a weed haze, but he has not once changed the shape or proportions of a single pro. Trying new things is fun but genetics reigns supreme and you can't shape a muscle and you can't bring up poor parts as a pro - maybe to a very tiny degree.

So much science and research that they can't even put it together for themselves.
Based on looks Phil Heath should be the best coach and expert on training and nutrition there is right ? ::)
Who cares how he looks he knows his shit better than 99,9999999% of the people who compete in crazy shape.

I could knock you out if I wanted don't think worms can do that
it would be fun to work your body with my hard rights and make ya cry ;)

The worse are the delt training its like custom made for shoulder impegement. Painfull to watch.

cool fantasy. i could pay your bum trainer enough to never look at you again, and after receiving from him half the lessons you needed, knock you out 100 out of 100 times. in reality, i spend my time a little more wisely as i don't want to end up like some whiny manchild who cries to his therapist (paid friend) because he can't get a girlfriend ::)

I love you Ron, but most "guru's" are drug hookups and glorified babysitters, even the former original "guru" Duchaine admitted this

Dan Duchaine was The Original One though...More savvy than any of these douche bags!

What worries me about those who give advices is are they medically trained to give such advice? Seems to me the so-called gurus accumulate information from experience and this is valuable to bodybuilders re drugs, training and getting cut for contests. It is insanity what some champs do and we have seen many pay the price for reckless things done to win contests. If you go back to Arnold's time sure they had drugs but most took them under medical supervision and thus few got side effects. Compare that to what is happening today. The price everyone is paying is over the top. The guru's can't compensate their athletes if something goes wrong. I bet they make them sign waivers to protect themselves. I find it rather unprofessional to give advice when you are not properly qualified. The trouble is perhaps no one is qualified because the medical profession walked away from steroids and all the nonsense involved in professional bodybuilding today. In the vacuum appeared all manner of 'experts' who claim to know what they are doing. We all remember how Luke Wood paid the ultimate price for misunderstanding a dosage and ended up losing his life from complications arising from kidney problems.

The medical supervision wasn't worth much, the docs didn't know what they were doing. They gave Deca and Dbol to kids - for example The Coach started by 15 via prescription.
Bodybuilding is experimental, even a doc can't predict what will happen with the combos of drugs used.
Many gurus do try to limit sides by having blood work done, keeping tabs on BP etc

Behind the neck press and upright rows, which are bodybuilding "staples", are custom made off impingement.

He did improve Gunter's back detail.

He's dead. Was that a trick question?
