your triceps straightens your arm, straighten your arm under tension with any exercise you like and your arms will grow.

Why do you keep posting this blurry pic of your small bicep? I actually believe that it’s your arm because it sucks. What I can’t believe is that you think it’s magnificent.

I'm good bro how's life treating u in that part of the world is that a recent powerlifting competition

All 127 lbs of me
How did you fit inside that windowed box?
-
I'll play... went from 330lbs to 156lbs, then got to the stage at 187 (first show) at 4.8% body fat. Competed 6 times since then, winning two local shows.
Legs are terrible, so I should do Men's Physique, except I'm built like a fridge without width or lines, so I can't do that either, ergo, haven't competed since 2014. #shouldajuststayedfat

Incredible transformation bro. Legs look great. Legs shouldnt be crazy big anyway. No loose skin in waist. You are one of the few that have pulled off such a transformation.Reminds me of the great legend Bruce Randall who went from 400 lbs of fat weighlifting to winning the Mr. Universe within a year or so...at 200 ish pounds.Bruce is my avatar pic. Congrats man.
-
Thanks man, and holy crap, just looked him up and good lord that's an insane transformation!? Mine wasn't all me....i had to have a circumferential body lift to remove 14+ inches of loose skin and got over 2,000 stitches in the process. Recovery was 6+ months and worst pain I've ever felt in my life, but worth it in the end.

Good for you brother. The fact that you did the surgery and then STILL went on to compete via hard training and hard dieting says a ton. Again...you look incredible.

DJ. I love your dog and would get one just like it but I have the habit of saving strays before they are terminated and have yet to find a good looking dog such as yours.
But I did save the original Benji's life once upon a time ... but that's too long of a story for this here GetBig Board.
THE WEIGHT .... Your transformation is way beyond any other physical achievement I've ever seen!!! Congrats to ya!!!!!
Did your story ever get any national coverage?
-
BRUTAL recovery...sent home with 2 drain tubes for 14 days and several complications. I signed a waiver to not have a catheter in after I was awake lol. Normally with that type of procedure you're sent home with one in and have to have it removed later, meaning I'd be completely awake and alert.....nope. Had one once, never again. But my stupid decision led to problems because I couldn't pass anything from all the drugs I was on (and subsequently on for 6+ months making me a legitimately needed but semi-crackhead). But needless to say, it was a necessity.

Thanks man! As a result, I was featured on the news and in commercials for the surgeon who did the gastric bypass back in 2007. But after 10 years of being post-op, although I work with clients everyday who are WLS patients, I don't feel it is an appropriate means to an end for 90% of people that have it. A lot of people see it as a 'quick-fix' or the 'end all, be all' of weight loss, which couldn't be further from the truth. It takes consistency and dedication to really transform yourself. They can do all types of surgery on your stomach, but they can't do it on your brain. I've seen countless people have all types of invasive surgeries and not lose a single pound (which still baffles me to this day!)
I have a website that I offer training and nutrition programs on (I'm a NASM Certified Weight Loss Specialist and CPT, CSN, though I realize that means absolutely NOTHING these days and literally anyone can be branded a "prep coach/guru") and I started a small supplement brand recently. So although I haven't really used it as a means to get notoriety or national coverage, it has definitely allowed me to do what I love to do and help others.
The bottom line is, (as cliche as it sounds) ANYONE can do ANYTHING. I always hated people that said, "oh, just believe in yourself and sky's the limit" and crap...but that's actually true. If you truly want to do something, you can. You just have to be dedicated as hell and turn it into a passion..the rest will fall in line! (talk to me in 10 years when i'm back up to 500lbs lol)

how has your life changed since transforming?

Well, for starters I'm not depressed and contemplating suicide lol. But in all honesty, it definitely opened my eyes to how unfair the world is. At 330lbs, no one takes you seriously or cares about whatever you say/do. Like a lower class human. In shape however, everyone stops to talk to you, respects what you say, etc. Sad. I'm still the same person as before, I just look different. In fact, though I learned a TON since, I still knew enough back then in terms of nutrition and supplementation.... remember, even the worst, fattest guy can pass an online test and pay $50 for a "certification". The most important thing I learned along the way was that CERTIFIED doesn't mean QUALIFIED! I'm much happier now, but it definitely molded my view and opinion of clients I work with now who were just like me....hopeful for a change but hopeless in the struggle. Thanks for asking!

Thing is that you are not the same person. You went from displaying characteristics of being weak minded to displaying that you are disciplined. Makes perfect sense that people now take you more seriously.

I agree, touche, makes sense. Even if I tried to portray authority or confidence (mind you I've been a cop for over a decade as well), I'm sure my inner self depreciation showed through. Good call.

But be honest.... the supplement brand....its a scam right? Supplements are not needed or are they?

You took control of your life with excellent results. Never having had a weight problem, I don't know this first hand, but people may have shunned you, not because of your weight, but as a result of you being depressed and likely not at all self-confident. With respect to this, you actually are not totally the person you were before. For one thing you seem like a happier person now.
My co-worker for more than a dozen years fought a serious weight problem. I suspect he was heavier than you were. I have not seen him in awhile, but he's probably just a big as ever. He was always on some kind of diet which didn't seem to work in the long run. He'd loose as much a 40 lbs and gain it all back. By no means is he a sad sack. He's always had lots of friends including girlfriends. He's leads a very busy and very social life. Only occasionally did it seem like he was down.
