Here is my perception of what happened. Trump doesn't read anything and certainly didn't read the bill. Most of the lawmakers didn't read the bill. He always intended on signing whatever they presented because he just doesn't know enough to articulate not signing something both parties agreed on. But he wants the ability to say he wasn't on board and only reluctantly agreed if it goes to shit. If it doesn't he will just talk of it as the "bill he signed".

The only upside to this is that since this is an omnibus and not a budget, he can pretty much allocate where ever he wants. But damn, $1.3 trillion..fuck🤦♂️

SCOTUS of course over-ruled Trump last month as you know (wait, I forgot for a moment who I was talking to - so more likely that you don't know this)

Yeah, from what I've seen, Trump really doesn't get it. He's like a kid in the 50s, watching Cowboy and Indian westerns, thinking "Oh it's good, we'll get the bad guys" when little does he realize the bad guys have duped him royally and are now setting themselves up NEVER to be caught on this earth.
