Title: Squatting and cardio
Post by: denarii on March 31, 2018, 11:19:26 AM
How do you guys both squat and do cardio without getting crazy blood pumps on the cardio like cycling after about 1 minute?

Getbiggers just do leg extensions. That’s enough for the genetic elite. Mass with class. No squats needed.

Did heavy leg presses this morning followed by 1 hour cycling easy in the hills near my house. After a leg workout in the gym it takes 2 easy days cycling before I am able to ride at full speed again. I compete in bicycle races and lift just to maintain my sprint.

How about not doing cardio on leg day ::)

I cycle to work. Last three yrs I didn't do squats but started doing them again. Up to 100kg squats now. Was at 185kgs before. But then I could only cycle 1 min and then roll for 30 secs. My legs are bruised to shit after even one set of squats now.

Go fully hipster and get an electric bike.
But seriously, how far do you bike a day?

Never once felt a pump in my legs from any sort of cardio. And I used to be sore for five days after squatting (for a brief period, anyway).
