do any getbiggers actually enjoy camping and/or fishing? Or, any outdoor activities for an extended period of time?
Personally, I hate both. I despise getting dirty and working with my hands. Who wants to sleep in a tent for like a week and get attacked by wild animals and insects?
This is the Tarantula Hawk. It has one of the worst stings in the animal kingdom. Its described as " "blinding, fierce [and] shockingly electric." I don't want to get stunk by a tarantula hawk. There is no good reason to go camping or do outdoor activities for a vacation.

Ill take a hotel with lotions, hot tub, candle light and some wine.

Hate the thought of camping having to be so close to people in a stinking little tent and shit in the woods and having your lass take 3 hours too cook your fried breakfast on a shitty camping stove and no porn. Sounds like fucking torture

Haha yes this would be the exception and at night we could cook Cumberland sausage and enjoy vodka by the fire

I just watched a movie based on a true story about a woman and man who go camping. A bear attacks the man kills him and the woman has to find her way out of the woods. Pretty brutal. Grizzly bears are no joke.

I agree. Some people love camping but to me it's just uncomfortable. I could do it of course if I wanted but why? I love nature just as much as anyone else but a nice hike is perfect and then you can be home sleeping in your own bed at night. I especially don't understand the people who try to climb mountains in the winter and end up getting stranded and perish.

make a thread about movies you dont want to see. places you dont want to go. jobs you dont want to have. websites you dont want to visit. stuff you dont want to buy.

Silly getbiggers. You don’t need to venture outdoors to pitch a tent while surrounded by bears. Allow me to suggest a weekend stay at the Mirage (rm 7). There’s plenty of ice available to reduce swelling from rough oil wrestling and/or prolapsed anuses. Just don’t forget the safe word (elevator shaft)

I camp often but avoid campgrounds as I don’t want to put up with the flotsam. Also after 2 nights I’m ready to go home and shower. Aside from that it’s a lot of fun.

My neighbours: dozens variety of spiders, rhino cockroaches, leaches, snakes, lizards ,crocodiles, sharks, jelly fish, sea snakes,......etc ,. &

Buy or rent a 5th wheel or travel trailer ya cheap c*nt. Camping is great for mental decompression. Love the smell of the forest as well.

Pretty much. I live in bear country, and can confirm that they're nasty beasts. Like sharks of the land. A friend's step son was killed by a black bear several years ago. Dude and his wife were at a local park and stumbled upon a hungry/angry black bear showing the typical signs of aggression. He distracted the bear and told her to run for help. She got back a short time later with the wildlife officer and the bear was literally eating the dude's guts. I love nature, hate bears.

One night outdoors is enough for me. Camping at the Ritz is much more enjoyable.

I like being in my nice house and if vacationing a good hotel/ condo. No desire to sleep in a tent. I want a king size bed and all the comforts of home.

Most of the things they say on getbig they do not say in real life, except to their close friends or family.

I've been camping hundreds of times but at night someone was always trying to kill us with bullets and bombs and rockets which made sleep impossible.
But when the sun came up we'd shoot back ... most of the time at nothing .... unless we were told to take a walk through a jungle and take shots at moving 5 foot targets.
Later on we went camping in the High Sierras and got attacked by a little brown bear who only wanted the oatmeal which some asshole forgot to insert in the bear-proof box that we were obliged to take before heading out.
BTW... that awkward camper chased that hungry, little bear for quite a distance and manged to get his bear-proof, cell phone back, but his pack was torn to shreads and the oatmeal was missing.
There are all types of camping adventures to enjoy in this world. You just have to look for one that is suitable for you and you alone.

Had a bear come through the campground a couple of years ago, cruised around and left with no issues. Not the brightest idea to chase after a bear.

CHAOS, I agree but in this case the chaser was dumber than the chasee!
I don't know any bears personally outside of Keith's big bear but this one in the Sierras was quite small and seemed scared.
I was more concerned that we'd meet up with his mother.
While in college I had a summer job in Yosemite at Degnan's Lodge and on my first nite it was my job to empty the restaurant garbage in big Dempsy Dumpster type of container in the back.
I thought it was a bit strange that the rest of the restaurant crew followed me but did not offer to help.
So as I was dumping the shit I felt a big presence behind me and turned to notice that it was a good size bear.
I shit my pants (not really) and dropped the garbage an that bear moved in for an evening meal while I moved off to the side whle the others laughed.
His name was BRUNO and that was my initiation into my new summer job.
I thought that was pretty damn stupid and never joined in when a new person was hired.
A few years later the Park Rangers had to shoot a misbehaving bear. I hoped it was not BRUNO who appeared to be pretty damn docile during my initiation.

Hate camping, hate fishing, love animals (so no hunting).
Nice motel room, or cabin near lake or beach works for me... Nasty looking insect, wow.
