Title: Phil Heath backstage at RAW
Post by: calfzilla on September 25, 2018, 12:34:04 AM
I think the producers told the girl doing the interview that he is 7 time Mr. O but failed to mention that he lost this year, and Phil certainly doesn’t smarten her up  ;D

New career path for Phil? Phillian "The Villian" Heath? He'll steal your title belt, along w/ your jewelry?

If Lashley steped next to Heath, he would make Phil not only look small, but narrow as hell.

Bobby would make Phil look like a tiny tit. Phil probably insisted Lashley not stand next to him.

Funny, he doesn't look that big in a t-shirt. Wouldn't stand out in the locker room with legitimately big guys like the WWE's roster of wrestlers. He's a tiny tit like the rest of 'em. And like someone said, zero mic skills, no personality, only fit to pick things up and put them down while ripping off his friends and lying about it.

A team of top journalists have been working around the clock all year to compile a list of every single question Phil Heath is willing to answer in an interview setting. Here it is in its entirety:

1. How does it feel to be Mr Olympia?
2. Was it hard to win the Olympia?
3. Are you going to do the Olympia next year?

End of list. (Update: Number 3 has been stricken from the list as of last week.)

People don't realize how small bodyuilders are compared to legitimately large men.

Example: Ronnie, in his prime, next to Bob Sapp.

But none of that size is his. It's built on sand. You probably have more muscle than he does when he quits the drugs cold turkey.

Those guys at WWE are huge regardless of if they're natural or not because they're all like 6'6" and 3x wider than him.

But he's really not, though. Even next to an off-cycle and much older Dwayne Johnson, he looks tiny. Same with 71 year old Arnold.

In general bbers are small guys, majority are under 6 ft with the average around 5’6 to 5’8, that’s below male height even in Asian countries. Very small individuals

Rob, let's talk honestly for a minute. Who really cares how muscular someone is? In 2018, muscle mass or strength is really the preoccupation of a few obsessive men in gyms and BB comps, and to a lesser extent people in physically-demanding jobs like construction or oil fields (and even then, less than ever thanks to technology that does the labor for you). It's an anachronism.

I agree that height isn't everything and it certainly is not a factor in how strong someone is, but it IS enough to get you a career in several pro sports if you have enough of it and some basic skill on the court. When's the last time a bodybuilder played in the NBA or Tennis? Even in the WWE, where muscularity does matter to an extent (less than it used to, say, during Hogan's and Rock's eras), all the guys are tall, that's the basic condition for them to be recruited into OVW and from there drafted into the Smackdown or Raw brands. In MMA, muscles are the last thing you want excessive levels of because those guys constantly gas out and lose to leaner and faster guys.

I guess my point is that nobody gives a flying fuck about how muscular Phil is; compared to the tall/wide men in that arena, he's just a short hypermuscular man who could be mistaken for a bouncer or a security guard (not even bodyguard, as those guys are virtually all 6'4" or higher). And like I said, his muscle is bought on a credit card (heavy drug stacks); within 4 months of quitting all those chemicals he'd be smaller than you or me, just like Ronnie is. Nobody is intimidated by Phil's arms or his shoulders or his chest. A LOT of people would be intimidated by a much-older, much-taller and much-wider Mark Calaway or LeBron James.

Didn’t ask why,I said people really seem to hate phil, just a statement.

Fair enough. But it bears repeating: He's not unpopular because he was Mr. Olympia 7 times; it's because he's a prick and a thief.

I get what you are saying and it’s the belief of most regular people as I hear people say all the time how huge someone is but in reality they are just tall and tall to me. Isn’t huge it’s just tall. When I say huge I mean muscle wise not height or width just flat out muscle size and phil does cram a ton of muscle on his little frame be it real or fake it exists as we speak. That is all I’m saying.

I agree. Most tall men are lanky and a strong breeze would knock them out. Tall AND big men are rare, but when you see one up close, you right away realize why guys like Phil are tiny goat tits with fake muscles.  ;)

I get that, I remember a few years ago I would always run into Dirk Nowitzki and we would speak briefly here and there, I am 6’2 and he is a legit 7 footer, I felt like a little kid. Some of these guys aren’t just tall, but flat out big as in long limbs, huge hands , very intimating

Lebron is another one, he’s more of a bigger build in person and around 6’7

A guy like Brad Gillingham, as an example, is miles more a physical presence than is Mr. Narrow Olympia Phil Theaf.

And as others say, within a year of no needles and pills, he goes back to being just an athletic-looking shorter-then-average guy.

No I’m 6’1.5”.I just can’t stand when people think tall equals big.Its just not so,tall is tall.Regular people always think tall people who are muscular are huge when they are not, they are just tall and lean not big by any means.Heath is huge is just what I’m saying.I guy who is 5’8 230 is gonna be way bigger than a guy who is 6’6 275 size wise if both lift weights.

But who really gives a fuck either way I guess it’s all opinion and how your eyes perceive shit.

In terms of optical illusion, you're probably right, which is why tall bodybuilders never really got the same freak factor as shorter ones, with the exceptions of Gunther, Paul Dillett, and Lou. The rest never fill in quite the same as a guy who's 5'6" in elevator shoes running tren and a few other compounds with good genetics.

But when you put a 5'8" 230lbs guy next to a 6'6" 275lb man, the difference is glaring. The tall guy could probably wrap his entire arm around the other guy's torso while the short guy would need to jump just to land a punch. Reminds me of Stallone vs. Lundgren in Rocky IV. I really doubt anyone walked away from that movie thinking Rocky was the bigger man in any way even though he was juicing and clearly the biggest he'd ever been.

Years of looking at men in thongs aren’t healthy, your perception is distorted

That being said since the mid to late 90’s until now I’ve seen pretty much all the top bbers in thier prime and I would say Ronnie was the biggest and freakiest a long with Paul Dillett and Nasser

Lee priest as good as he is, was not impressive imo, freaky arms for sure but he’s so little it’s a non factor

Yeah but rocky was 200 lbs at 5’8 so not really comparable, now if you compare Stallone I. The movie get carter where he was prob his biggest ever I’d say he looked bigger than lundgren did in rocky.

Yeh but whos the better fighter? It might come down to tribal tattoos.

So you think lebron has more mass than dexter? That is the most outlandish thing I’ve ever read.

Prob think these huge basketball players are bigger than Ronnie and ruhl too.

Very well said Rob.
What is it with this Tall / Height thinks some folks have.

Tall is Tall that doesn’t mean big or huge unless it’s applied to
Brian shaw / Thor Bjornsson / Zydrunas savickas / Eddie hall etc.

its hard to tell from pictures, myspace angles will make someone look way bigger if just turned more side on, then you have to know if the bodybuilder is in contest shape, dieted down or offseason

many bodybuilders look bigger in person then there pictures

I always like the its hard to tell from pictures argument.

Photos remove feelings and emotions that an individual experiences in person. Photos offer a glimpse of the moment. They also provide context.

If someone is good looking, they'll be good looking in photos. If someone is lean, muscular, large, etc they will be in photos.

Elements are lost in pictures but they're mostly emotional.

Mcmahon and Triple H are really good supporters of bodybuilding. Its nice of them to throw a crumb of publicity to the least known, least liked Mr. Olympia. They have always been supportive.

While WBF was fucked...I think Mcmahon should run Olympia..certainly wouldn't be breaking up great moments like Kai and Phil about to fight onstage...they were both in prep..they didn't have energy to fight and if they did, so fucking what?....

Mcmahon is the last guy with some bucks that could save this sinking ship called pro bodybuilding.

Guess someone has to be 6’6 350 pounds with 3 percent bf to impress you  :D

Years of looking at men in thongs aren’t healthy, your perception is distorted

Apparently-for some people here-skeletal structure does not count towards "size".  ;D
