Apparently many Native Americans don't have a permanent address and use PO Box on their ID
So they have a perfectly valid ID but it can't be used to vote
You can find many other examples where these laws are DESIGNED suppress or deter legitimate and legal voters from voting
Luckily it turns out they are not nearly as effective at voter suppression as Republican had hoped
BTW - you can find many legal challenges where various voter ID laws were overturned and the judge concluded the intent was suppression

Read up on that and yes, the way they wrote the state law was indeed stupid and needs to be changed. Native Americans in the situation still had avenues to vote, but definitely was a procedural and logistical mess.

I see this bullshit from libs all over the internet now. Native Americans have ID just like everyone else. You can't do anything without ID (buy cigarettes, booze, get into clubs, go to school, cash any check anywhere, open any type of account anywhere, get a library card, etc) but yet the democratic party is just chock full of millions of people nationwide who don't have ID. It's black people in the south and natives in the west, hispanics in the southwest and poor whites in the midwest and northeast that don't have ID and they all happen to be democrats. It couldn't possibly be just an excuse to cheat, could it? When the republicans offered free voter ID in the south the democrats were against it because they said there are people afraid to come forward to the registration center because they have warrants and were afraid of being arrested. Some base your party has. ::)

I read multiple articles on it, because we have to look at each instance of this for what it is - can't just be completely partisan on everything like Strawman.

Bullshit, those people had plenty of time to get ID's. Do they have driver's licenses or state ID's? How many people on reservations don't have ID? Natives get all kind's of assistance from the government and you have to have ID to qualify or cash any government check.
