It's only expensive to put someone to death because they have too many appeals and they use expensive chemicals to put them to death 20 years after the conviction. The hangman's rope is undefeated and can be used again and again.
It's interesting how most who say the death penalty for criminals who tortured and murdered people is barbaric are the same who say aborting an innocent child is a woman's choice.

The one main issue I have with the death penalty, which is obvious, is pegging the wrong person.
It's hard for me to 100% fully agree with the death penalty, given the amount of human error in the legal system.

Obviously there are people who should be locked up. I’m not an anarchist, but I believe government power should be checked whenever possible. Just look at how our “Intelligence Communities” have conducted themselves recently.
