It's only expensive to put someone to death because they have too many appeals and they use expensive chemicals to put them to death 20 years after the conviction.  The hangman's rope is undefeated and can be used again and again.

It's interesting how most who say the death penalty for criminals who tortured and murdered people is barbaric are the same who say aborting an innocent child is a woman's choice.

So what...death penalty has been nonexistent since they stopped using the electric chair.  You lay on the table and get put to sleep....that's not real punishment.
