LOL!

Five plates on that Hammer thing is actually respectable in good form, but those jerk-offs helped him with every twitchy rep.

It reminds me of Glass "training" Dillet on pulldowns.  "Come on, contrack!  Contrack!"

Brandon Curry should destroy him onstage.

My guess is - Because he wants to   ;D

It also might possibly be that overdressing keeps his joints warm and thus, less likely to get injured

Lots of modern tools train like pussies. I guess if they can get away with it, then whatever. (Rhoden, Phil, Dillet and Vince Taylor in their day, etc.).
Smarter than "Nuthin but a peanut-brain" though...

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bzq3jT8n0En/?hl=en

guy is 44 years old and he is not young or playing the size/bulk/intensity game.

he is doing the same thing i assumed from last year - muscle memory, hard core dieting, cardio and the supplementation. if he trained heavy on flat bench press it would be a greater chance of injury - risk vs reward is not there for him to mess around with big free weights

again this is bodybuilding not powerlifting -

who looks best on stage hitting poses that night? that is all that counts folks

I’ve seen Charles train many guys from Cormier, flex, Gunter over the years from the late 90’s to the early 2000’s, it’s nothing revolutionary, yes, angles, sitting on a dumbbell doing seated rows, hammer strength chest press, driving from the “hips” seen it all

Instagram completely sucks! You can't go full screen with the videos or pause / rewind them etc. And it does not integrate with forums. Just useless. Why does everyone use it??

Because it's the premier app for photo sharing, and that's primarily what it's for - sharing photos. The ability to post short videos was a later addition.

Well they need to update their software and integrate with forum software, provide full screen and play control features etc.. It is a joke.

Ok SF and the rest of you, I’ll play along. 10 plates and Glasses assistant wearing a backpack assisting Rhoden with 4 fingers, how much help do you really think he’s getting especially with hardly any grip strength in the one hand from 9 severed tendons in his arm?

How’s your Olympia training going again?

It's primarily intended to be a mobile app and even the desktop version has limited functionality, I really doubt they will do that.

This is easy.

The lift wont count because the hands touch the bar. It doesn't matter if the help is minimal or not.

Some people can get away w/ training that way. Vince Taylor was very successful in contests, and trained so light, drank coke all day, and followed his own "diet" (ate what he wanted).
Some lucky ones can get away w/ it.

He (Rhoden) did it last year and beat out the Michelin Man for the Mr. O title. (Michelin Man's been training pretty lamely himself over the years and won a ton).

I doubt he would place very well a certainly not win
Thing is He’s Not Having to compete with them Blokes or those types of Quality Physique’s

There’s always been good physique's about whatever era - Though from the early 80’s till around the
20’s the Quantity & Quality at Times was Staggering - it says something that we’re so many years
Later and can’t match that era for overall quality & quantity of Great Physique’s.
