Just because you are pregnant and in theory slightly more susceptible to illness doesn't mean your gonna die from a virus when 32 and otherwise in good health. She will be fine.

It’’s hard to make it through a winter without coming down with something. Most people, myself included, at least get some form of a cold, sore throat or the flu. In the case of a head of state, he has an extreme busy schedule and as a result isn’t getting the proper rest to make recovery as quick as possible.In the absence of the current health scare, this wouldn’t be anything abnormal.

Yes. It's been used throughout human history for different viruses. It was used during various measles outbreaks and the Spanish flu. More recently it was used for Ebola and bird flu.
Calling it a cure was hyperbole though, but it is a very effective and ready to go treatment. More importantly with proper precautions in place it's SAFE!
