Title: Loose skin
Post by: Manotaur on May 27, 2020, 09:36:09 PM
At one time when I began my fitness journey I weighed 379 lbs at a height of 5-10. I had very little lean body mass and I was addicted to pizza, ice cream and Hostess snack cakes. After I fell in the town square one day and it took 3 firemen and a construction worker to lift me back to my feet I knew I needed to take massive action. It started with walks around the block and elimination of the pizza, ice cream and Hostess snack cakes from my diet. After several months of walking and increasing the distance, I weighed 320 lbs. I then began walking with spurts of jogging thrown in. At this time I purchased two 5 lb dumbells and started a little routine in my bedroom. Then I was 299 lbs. I began going to a commercial gym where my personal trainer Ryan put me through the paces with the free weights and the machines and put me on the treadmill afterwards for 44 minutes. Ryan also wrote down a diet for me consisting of the proper macros and he forced me to purchase a food scale. Then I weighed 247 lbs. Ryan brought me to a powerlifting meet and I watched in awe as the contestants put up some pretty monstrous weights. I immediately jumped in to powerlifting training while I continued to walk the treadmill and diet. Fast forward six months and I weighed 192 lbs and was benching 250 and squatting 270 and deadlifting 305. I should mention at this time that I had very large swaths of loose skin that basically hung down to my knees and I had to begin stuffing into my pants. I finally reached my goal of lifting in the 148 lb class. My personal bench press record is 277 lbs. At a weight of 153 lbs. I decided to try MMA but the guy at the Brazilian Jiu jitsu place said no way until I get the loose skin removed because he doesn't want the guys grabbing the loose skin and tossing me around by the loose skin. I now have a girlfriend and I have yet to show her the loose skin as she may get freaked out by it. Anyone here know of a quick fix for loose skin? Maybe a cream or something? I can't afford the surgery.

When you let yourself get so disgustingly fat, Even after loosing the weight you wholeheartedly deserve a lifelong punishment fir the error of your ways in the form of repulsive loose skin

Good news! After a bunch of research today I narrowed it down to this product "Eight Pack" and scored some off of Ebay. Maybe I'll be taking my shirt off in front of my girlfriend after all.

BS story. Your loose skin alone would weigh around 50lbs so there is no way you'd weigh 153lbs at 5ft10.

Also anyone that's weighed 350lbs plus will have strong ass legs to carry all that weight around. Your squat would be much higher just with minimal training.

Why U didn't try sumo !.
I received some strange offers when I was at my heaviest. One guy offered me $500 to put on a cat suit and pig out on jelly donuts and Chinese food until the pants split in the back...you can guess what he proposed to do next! But I'll tell you that living the life of a bodybuilder/powerlifter is the best! (Now if I could only tighten up this goshdarn loose skin! LOL)

All the stupid bulk up then go on a cut (there words LOL )has resulted in slobs adding 50 pounds of lard to their bodies......when they finally realize they look like horseshit they "CUT: back to 150 and all of their skin has lost elasticity especially in older men.

I always loved how the talked on cbb.com..............go on a clean bulk then go on a cut.........instead of saying I`m trying build size for the summer or my contest then I will fine tune it and hone in on contest day.

Just goes to show they are kids just like we were once,,,,,,if they came here we could hekp tham avoid the pitfalls we`ve suffered.

Awesome transformation, but he should have gone for the muscular perma bulk look to avoid the soggy skin.

Thread is useless without pics

Also ive helped people lose such weight and their loose skin was never that much of a problem. More like giant stretch marks.

He never got much publicity because he was connected with the Billiard Barbell company. Weider and Hoffman considered him "the competition".

He probably got more written about him in  Super Squats  written in 1989 than he did anywhere else.

I disagree. Your judgement is clouded from the demise of your loved one. Not very Alpha to be so emotional, but don't  sweat it.

You seem a little sensitive. Understandably so, as you are grieving the loss of a loved one. Try not to take the internet so seriously.
