Post by: MP on August 29, 2020, 06:55:23 PM
Interesting to see some of the people Big Boy works out with. Would be cool to see a workout of him and Eric Spoto.

So that's the guy that was selling Piana's wife the meth behind his back - who then went on to run Rich out of town, hence the move to Florida?

That's the scuttlebutt (is that the word?)  Who knows if it's true or not?

Or the completely unsubstantiated rumor that they were cutting his Oxy powder with Fentanyl to... well... you can fill in the rest - did you see the hotel video where he was OD'ing..?

(There never was a tox screen released, was there..?)

I just figured Rich left Cali when he couldn't pay his bills and get anyone else to rent to him.  The last year he lived in a few different places.

That may well have been the case

The other theory was that he'd moved to be closer to a specialist proton therapy service for his skin cancer - like I say, who knows... maybe a combination of all three

Or maybe he just liked saying "Or-LAN-dOOO" (mkaelus reference)  ;D

It's surprising how strong a person can be on the outside, but have a weak heart.

The heart is the most important muscle. If bodybuilders had to show their hearts they would train them hard. Since it's hidden they couldn't give a damn. Strange but the harder you train the heart muscle the slower it beats at rest. It also slows down after exertions quicker.

Bodybuilders often have enlarged hearts and so do runners who train intensely.  Their left ventricle which pumps the blood out becomes enlarged from the intense exercise.  Gradually the heart muscle stiffens and can result in heart failure.  So the heart actually weakens from hard training, particularly in steroid users.

Distance runners have a high rate of heart disease as well.

While a naturally enlarged heart may not be harmful, the long-term use of anabolic steroids may cause real problems for your heart.

Like most things about steroid use, the effects are unclear since few studies, if any, have been done.  We have seen numerous past steroid users with heart problems.

With all the potential negative physical side effects that are possible with steroid use, not to mention the illegality and the constant time suck attendent to their use, is it worth it for the non-professional to use them for temporary muscles/aesthetic reasons?  Seems like too much to bother with for what you get out of it.  Time and effort better spent more productively elsewhere.

Anabolic Steroids May Weaken the Heart

https://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/news/20100427/anabolic-steroids-may-weaken-the-heart#1

Athletic heart syndrome (AHS) is a non-pathological condition commonly seen in sports medicine in which the human heart is enlarged, and the resting heart rate is lower than normal.

Yes, moderation in all things, including moderation.  Excess in any area seems a negative for health.  Top competitors in just about any field have negative mental and/or physical health issues.

"The athlete's heart is associated with physiological remodeling as a consequence of repetitive cardiac loading.  Athlete's heart is common in athletes who routinely exercise more than an hour a day, and occurs primarily in endurance athletes, though it can occasionally arise in heavy weight trainers. The condition is generally considered benign, but may occasionally hide a serious medical condition, or may even be mistaken for one."

Truth.

As a Getbig educated health expert, I believe genetics plays a dominant role in just about anything health related.

People want to control their fate healthwise so this is an uncomfortable thing to accept, i.e. that you really have little control.

High levels of stress trigger genetic factors that wouldn't manifest without it.

Very true, i've been studying a lot about health the past 2 years.  The two biggest aspects of health for the "average" person are genetic response to stress and diet.  Exercise has a small role to play for the "average" human.  We aren't designed to run marathons or lift heavy weights 6 days a week.  The healthiest people who live the longest are found in "blue zones" across the world; they have a good natural diet, little stress and are typically very active, but in just general movement, not exercise.

The craziest thing i've learned is that people who live a long time typically don't try to, it just happens.

I've been able to become much healthier by eating less meat, walking or hiking instead of fast cardio and very little weight training.  The thing that changed my life the most was moving to small quiet City where everything is slow and calm.  I lived in the big City for 38 years and since i left i have become so much more comfortable, i have zero stress and every day feels like vacation.

Oddly enough, i know i man who's 94 years old.  Fought in the War, smoked for 40 years, eats red meat and fried food all the time.  It's a crap shoot i think.

When i took anatomy near the end of the semester the professor let us do a q &a and my question was if he could assign weight to various risk factors the contribute to death which one ranked the highest and it was stress. He said genetics can be plus or minus two smoking minus 1 bad or good diet plus or.minus 1 but stress was a minus 1 2 or 3. So excessively high stress can actually overcome good genetics in terms of shortening your life.

Also when i was in my early 20s i had a girlfriend who was 19 and she would routinely miss her period for a month or two when stressed out at work. That wasnt fun. But goes to show the profound impact on.ones health stress can have.

Haha no mate it’s always been revolting, looked like a bloke even before it started its sex change treatment And always had that annoying I run the joint bull dyke attitude, one night in one of the local pubs before it was done out and had a layout that was circular so you could walk round the whole place without doubling back it spent the entire night walking circles with that pathetic strut where they move each shoulder up then down Alternatively with a pissed off look on its fat face looking around glaring at people, it looked ridiculous this little fat 5’6” slob with its fat arse and gut twice as wide as it’s shoulder walking about like it was a prime mile Tyson, had to resist the urge to smash the fat little cunt straight in the face

Sprint short distances or walk looking for food
a Zulu warrior could speed march vast distances & fight

How you react to stress is trainable.  Example: meditation
