my 1st thought is How sad is it that republicans are willing to sit back and allow a fair and honest election be decided by the Supreme court rather than the people. It sounds very undemocratic and unpatriotic. That any American would not only want this to happen but hopes it happens puts them at the same level as Putin
While the Supreme court is now weighted on the Conservative side, Unless conservative now means corrupt, I would hope they would weigh the "evidences" just like all the other courts have and come to the right decision not the politically convenient one. John Roberts doesn't seem to be a rabid right winger and he has input into the cases they accept

I am not so sure that it's a mistake to point out the source of a statement or message as a way to disprove the context. If a known liar is the source of something would you not question what they are claiming? For example knowing what we know now about Sidney Powell would you be inclined to believe what she says as factual?
Maybe I'm missing something in your post. If I am, forgive me. But, Coach often posts comments without attributing it. At least it seems so to me. I often check this before responding to his posts. Most often where his information comes from is completely unreliable and predictable.

"The only way the Supreme Court could step in here is to review what a lower state or federal court already decided, just as it did with the Florida Supreme Court in Bush v. Gore in 2000," Steve Vladeck, professor at the University of Texas School of Law, wrote.

Same here. If recounts are deemed necessary by the courts then do them. Trump lost big time. These recounts would have to result in a significant amount states and number of votes in those states that were miscounted.
Everyday that this nonsense continues, Trump just looks worse and worse. I imagine some of his base are actually getting fed up with his actions by now. But, you never know.

President Donald Trump is frustrated with how his legal team has been handling the election fight, according to an NBC News report on Monday.
Trump has become worried that his team is made up of "fools that are making him look bad," one official told NBC.
The team, which includes his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, is in charge of overseeing Trump's ongoing lawsuits over the election results.
Several officials familiar with the president's reactions told NBC that Trump was upset with Guiliani's appearance at chaotic news conference held last week at the Republican National Committee headquarters.
The president took umbrage with Giuliani's hair dye dripping down the sides of his face while he was speaking at the nearly 2-hour-long event, one source told NBC.
Giuliani, along with Trump's legal adviser Jenna Ellis and the now-fired lawyer Sidney Powell, defended Trump's baseless claims of voter fraud at the conference.
Trump's legal team also pushed conspiracy theories about politicians being paid to hack voting machines and foreign countries trying to steal the election. The Trump campaign has since tried to distance itself from the scene and released a statement on Sunday that Powell is no longer part of the president's legal team.

That's a rhetorical question at this point. They seem to be coming along very quickly as of late. Michigan's vote is certified. As of yesterday several counties in Pennsylvania were certified. Each state has their own timeline, but the certifications should be complete by December 8th.
As of November 24, 2020:
Election result certification dates had passed in 25 states and the District of Columbia
Election result certification dates had not passed in 25 states
In the presidential election, there are two more key dates related to election results. Under 3 U.S.C. § 5, a state must settle any presidential election disputes and determine its electors six days before the Electoral College meets. This safe harbor provision deadline falls on December 8 in 2020. The Electoral College will then cast its votes for president and vice president on December 14, 2020.[3]

Don't expect the current projected results will change much between now and then. Although not all states have certified their votes, they've called the election which typically doesn't happen until there is almost absolute assurance of the winner.

I agree that Coach is a good man. When it comes to bodybuilding and weight training, he has a lot to offer and he's been pretty successful in these endeavors. He just has a different viewpoint than some others and he's shown himself to be somewhat "hard headed" when it comes to certain topics, such as politics.
He only rarely makes crude or possibly insulting remarks to other folks here. For the most part, he's very civil to everyone. I like Coach. I just don't agree with his political views.
Because when his mind is made up about something he is so emphatic and committed to his beliefs, it is sometimes fun to give him a bad time when he gets something wrong when done in good spirits.
