The first exercise Heavy swings . what the hell is he trying to gain from this weight?

I was surprised how taxing doing kb swings with a decent weight is.
It really hits the legs and low back. A very good exercise.
His range of motion is short with that much weight. It's so much he doesn't bend his legs at all.
See here at :52 for more range of motion.

A real swing is a hip hinge.
Too many people bend their back and raise their arms.
Never understood going for super heavy weights with this.

I see people doing it but normally with a Kettlebell with a fairly light weight. not super heavy. I mean itīs no doubt a great warm up but what the guy is doing is just crazy. in my opinion.

I don't disagree.
The movement is good when it's part of a conditioning circuit, in my opinion, or teaching the hinge, which is important for deadlifting and stuff.
I don't see a benefit of using heavy stuff for this at all.

Agree. even in the old days steve reeves used this as a warm up. A Dumbbell swing through. i see a use for the exercise but just not as a real muscle builder more a conditioner with reps as part of a circuit cross fit style.
