Strength he never earned. It’s why the overwhelming majority of these injuries happen to juicebags.

The supporting structures cannot keep pace with the hyper strength increases.

Without the mountains of gear, he’d likely top out at, like, 315 for a double, if that, or something, so there’s no way he has the structural integrity to safely challenge such a poundage.

You answered your own question, Larry isn’t the brightest, he’s had many injuries already and many more to come

I hope he gets crushed and drops the bar onto his throat next time, save us all the trouble and one less moron on this earth

His right pec will be highly deformed. That is the worst look for a professional bodybuilder.

I’ve never heard of a steroid-free weightlifter who had torn their pec, tricep or bicep.

I do know a steroid-free woman who tore her achilles tendon while doing calisthenics.

Fucking clowns all tearing muscles these day......something you never saw top powerlifters do too often back in the day and they used only chalk,a belt, and knee wraps.

And their lifts were strict and legit

Too much gear.................... .tendon/ligament strength, not on par with muscle strength.

I know what I mean, but that` the best I could do to put it into words.

No I understand, that’s the common thought. I never gave much thought to the golden era of strength guys relatively staying injury free. But it shows you how drug dependent this era of guys are.

No need to lift that heavy when you are on the juice.

Basically ALL top benchers have torn pecs the last several decades. Nothing new.

Many/most strength guys were not able to do 500lbs inclines either so it's related to guys just being crazy strong today.

Poor exercise choice for a bb. Barbell mechanics puts the pec in a bad position.

him flaring his elbows out like a newbie and not being able to touch his chest with full ROM is the biggest reason imo.

watch the full video where they test his ROM.

There is no reason for a bodybuilder to lift heavy.  Leave the big weights to the powerlifters.

Not to dispute you Van,but I will anyway! LOL  ;D

I trained in the same gym as Glen Chabot who benched 722 pounds......never tore a pec.......did 3 sets of triples with 650 also.

Back in the 70` when I trained at the YMCA, Carlton Snitkin (very famous powerlifter at the time.....look him up) never tore a pec and his training partner John Pezzote who benched 505 in `74 never tore a pec and the great Jim Williams first man to bench 700 never tore a pec............the list goes on and on.

It`s these modern dweebs who are shredding their muscles with tons of gear and shitty form.

Lincoln shot

Bodybuilding is the muscle.  It does not matter if you achieve the muscle with light weights or heavy ones.

I googled the first guy. This is a quote:

"I basically over trained because I tore my pec in November and I tried to come back at less than 100%. I felt like I could pull off the win being 90% or so with a low 7. I almost got 735 in the gym, I've seen the video like 6 times now. I was about 2 inches from lockout, but I lost balance and that's when I pulled my pec." - Chabot

More big benchers have torn pecs than not. Some only minor tears but tears nonetheless. Some injuries we may not even know about because they just keep training through it all and don't say shit.

Bet he won't try that again! ;D

Incline BB is the worst exercise to go heavy. It's pointless.

It's just very hard to pound the bench for years and years, on steroids, and not have tears. If they are lucky only little bits come off periodically  :D You are right in that the cycles are too strong today, the trenbolone flows too freely  :D

That looks more like the aftermath of a partial mastectomy having tissue & muscle in surrounding areas removed from having breast cancer

Fabian (the taller one) is around 270 offseason. The weight limit for his class is 247. He got his pro card at the Arnold in Columbus March 2020 with a mask on his face.

Ryan Crowley tore it again while getting dressed.
