I understand you have some health problems, Henda.

I am sorry to hear it and I hope you recover soon.

What is wrong specifically?

Thank you mate

I’ll start from beginning

Aye last week I had a heart attack, started as a stomach bug as had been vomiting every 20 minutes or so for 16 hours and couldn’t keep fluids down and by about 5pm was really dehydrated and having trouble standing or walking and vision was blurry by this time my partner had contacted my son To ask how I was and he told her I was really Ill so she drove to my house and took me to the minor injuries unit at local hospital and they rushed me In as couldn’t find pulse anywhere or get blood pressure reading as was so low they said lucky I came in as body was starting to shut down so got me on a drip and got me emergency ambulance I was luck as had she not came over I was going to stick it out as still thought just had a bad bug haha

Once I got to emergency hospital they determined I’d also had a heart attack caused by a few things but mainly blood being too thick I’m left with a bit damage to the heart and have a clot on the aorta that they are trying to dissolve with thinners which is also bringing my blood count down nicely but they said for how small the damage is my heart should be pumping a lot better

Hoping to be finally out of hospital soon I’ve moved to the freeman which is specificalist heart hospital I’m getting an angiogram at 1pm then they will discuss plan going forward. Just fed up of being in hospital now can’t wait to get home now as been in hospital 10 days now so a bit sick of it haha

that sucks bro. Any ideas from the doctors as to why the blood was too thick?

I have zero knowledge about that.

Nearly 10 years straight on 250mg of test mate and neglecting blood work or to donate blood. They do think other factors played a part but this definitely contributed a lot. They tested my testosterone levels among the many blood tests and found them high so couldn’t deny it haha

My dads mam died years before I was born of massive heart attack while out shopping in her mid 50s and my dads brother had first heart attack at 32 so there is a touch family history but not going to try and put blame on that

Damn 10 days in a hospital sounds like a nightmare. What is your blood pressure and pulse now how are you vitals do you know what they were prior? Had you had any checkups previously any warning signs? Did the dehydration cause the thickening or was your blood already thick? You mentioned a high RBC? Just not sure how 250mg would raise it that much what was your T level when the tested it? You can have high levels and still have low RBC and be anemic that is why I question if the T caused it. If you had told them you used marijuana they would have blamed that Doctors will blame whatever they are not familiar with and most are not familiar with T. The evidence isn't really there. More recent studies actually show the opposite. Get well soon

The Test didn't cause this the fucking dehydration and throwing up for 16 hours caused this if he had gone to the hospital and gotten an IV drip initially he wouldnt have had a heart attack. Why are we ignoring the obvious culprit?

even 100mgs a week causing a significant increase in hemocrit and he’s been on 250 a week for 10 years. Combine that with high cholesterol, triglycerides, maybe bp etc… he didn’t go to doctor for along time I believe he said. All that is the perfect storm. Everyone is different.

Don't shit in his thread dude. You did this in the Pellius thread too.

I doubt getting an IV drip would have prevented the heart attack Henda. Sometimes certain heart attacks can also give symptoms of nausea and vomiting. Usually it is the artery that goes to the right side and the back side of the heart if it is blocked it might give those symptoms. In other words, it is possible that have been heart attack symptoms all along and not a stomach bug that led to a heart attack. But I doubt anyone would really know for sure.

All the best with the angiogram.

Depending on the interventional cardiologist that works on you, they can often do many things while inside (chemical vs mechanical thrombolysis and/or even an angioplasty). Hopefully, after this rotor rooter, you will be back better than ever.

We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers and send you all the positive energy as a family.

This ^^

I like Brian but he seems to ignore the obvious about Test usage. (To validate his own use).  Which is quite common really for people.

Everyones different. If someone already runs a high RBC, test-250 will absolutely make it worse. Especially for a decade.
Not saying it IS THEE CAUSE, but it can, and has contributed to incidents like these. Some folks cannot do any TRT as they just have thick blood naturally.

Most people, it may not be an issue for, if pre-disposed, then of course it can make it worse.

Holy cow, that’s high on the RBC count. I donate blood every 60 days to keep that down. You can probably stay low dose, 100mg, and just do your regular donations to keep the blood from thickening. I can’t imagine that it gave you a bit of a shock, but I’m sure you’ll be alright. Keep the positive attitude bro!

True dat. I have naturally high hematocrit. I was at 52 and donated double red blood cells which brought it down 6 points. Felt a lot better afterwards. I’m sure it hinders your overall performance in the gym the first week or two, but it’s worth it. Plus they gave me $45 in Amazon gift cards for fart powder. Frequent donors need to keep getting their ferritin levels checked as well.

Damn. You can divide that diastolic by 2 and still be considered stage 2 hypertensive. At what point do your eyeballs start bleeding during squats? I recommend having a doctor or nurse give you a traditional reading before your heart jumps out of your chest.

I donated yesterday

My BP was just 141/110

I shall be taking steps to address this

Very wise, high blood pressure is common but easily treatable.  Wish more people were as sensible as you.

SF1900 and Wes just arrived at the hospital. They brought protein bars for Henda and peach cobbler. Right now they are watching battle for the 2002 olympia on VCR in the hospital room. Some of the other patients complained, but they were shut down before it escalated.

And I laid my head on Hendas beautiful hairy chest.

This is not good news. Get well and get out of the hospital... the sooner the better. Start monitoring your hematocrit and get on a blood donation schedule. This episode could have been worse, you chave had a stroke. It is definitely a wake up call. Not only for you but for anyone, including me, who is on TRT.

Hi Henda !   🙋‍♀️

Take care you silly sexy man. I will see if I can find a tall blonde personal physician to give you a few months of home healthcare.  😉. You will have to hire SF1900 to empty your bed pan and give you sponge baths.

I am working on box jumps. I can put three of the CrossFit bumper plates on top of the box and jump up on top of that from a standing position. I will send you a video of me jumping - it looks goofy but it will make you laugh. Im not sure what the box jumping helps improve, but the people at the CrossFit gym seem very interested in it.

I’m in Frankfurt for a few days. Tell you about it in email.

I’m stuck with hospital food which is mostly healthy shit that just have to grin and bear it’s no alternative

Surprisingly my arteries were actually clear according to ct scan yesterday fuck knows how haha, the main issue has been the thick blood and the clots and they going to controll with medication heart not pumping as should yet. Would be home now but my sodium is low and potassium high so they sorting that out before I can leave but apparently the English breakfasts have had little to no affect haha

Make it easier. What are you getting at?

For years we told you that you were doing damage to your health with your heavy drinking.

You always denied it and said you were completely in control and only drank because you liked it.

Then you sucked a dick and died in a car wreck, so we never got to see the end of the story.

rob my blood was too thick. I was donating and taking aspirin but every time I gave blood the girl had to work and twist that damn needle and my blood would barely flow. You could just see that it was thick. I knew this could not be good so I reluctantly got off.Been a year and a couple months and I feel ok..not great but ok. I am 63 and I thought I better take care of this shit. I forgot to ask her what my test level was. I’m sure it’s low because I’m able to train pretty hard but I don’t constantly have the urge to hump on the old ladies leg anymore. She appreciates it but this is about me.

My blood is really thick as well and when I went to give blood 3 weeks ago it barely would flow and like you say they keep jamming and moving the needle. That’s why I’m don’t want to start test therapy either. Just having thick blood, having to give blood etc… seems like a pain in the ass. So I’m not gonna do it and my total test is low at 260ish but I’m strong and train hard so mayb the correlation between test and muscle isn’t as much as they think it is. Thank you for your explanation, I was assuming something like what you said was the reason.

Wouldn’t say overdoing it but have been drinking more often lately just on a Saturday I’d have maybe half a litre of vodka. Before that it was a handful of times a year I’d go out and get smashed with mates and put away a fair amount but it was never regular I’d go months between touching alcohol

many years ago when I was powerlifting I took higher doses (mostly test and dianabol)but I had been completely clean for many years when I started the TRT. I was so out of the loop I didn’t even know I could legally get testosterone.A pharmacist buddy of mine told me to get my doc to hook me up and she did. I decided to get off because of the thick blood. I may just be prone to having this issue but I did go see her last month and my blood was thinner so maybe this was a good decision.

Whats the easiest way to treat it?

easiest way is an antihypertensive aka 'blood pressure' medication.  you'll have to see a 'healthcare provider' for a prescription but the meds are inexpensive and well-tolerated and you'll add good quality years to your life.  Chronic blood pressure leads to debilitating issues that ruin your quality of life, like heart failure, a stroke, kidney failure/dialysis .. so your few remaining years cant be fully enjoyed.

prescription guidelines do say try diet & exercise for 6 months first, but few can stay consistent to get to safe blood pressure levels.  Lots of cardio and shedding some bodyweight will work for most but not everyone has time, effort, or desire ... and that's ok.  we have pills for that now  ;D

Lol! Thanks, apparently some folks didn't get the reference to the Wizard of Oz. For them, Tbombz is likely more up their alley. I forget that some Getbiggers are still juveniles and too young to know the story line of the Wizard of OZ. Now if Henda's nurse were Glinda the good witch, he might want to rethink how soon he wants to go home.

The pervy winking emoji is the best. Such a beautifully subtle way for Prime to indicate that he's aware his post implicitly carries with it the intention of making Henda sexually aroused.

I'm sure Henda is flattered to know that Prime has his penis on his mind. No doubt he's laughing and winking back at the laptop screen from his hospital bed as he now contemplates a quick wank.

Ha, ha, I honestly didn't notice that. I was trying to find a hot looking nurse to cheer Henda up. It was disappointing that there were none who lived up to his ideal woman who has a voluptuous, Rubenesque figure.

I'm not sure how things work in England but if it were me I'd want a traditional angiogram (sometimes called a left heart cath). They will go through and artery in your arm or upper thigh to inject the dye directly into the arteries to see if you really have a blockage or not. I wouldn't trust the discrepancies between the 2 cat scans. When you see the cardiologist tell them you want one and see what they say.

Well that’s a little better than expected but the follow up w cardiology will be a bit more informative as to prognosis.  Looks like this was written by your endocrinology team.

Your coronary arteries may be clean but your blood is thick as jelly  ;D

One other thing to be thankful for - in the US you’d be on the hook for thousands and thousands of dollars

They were going to give me that exact procedure mate but decided to go with the ct and dye instead at last minute for reasons they never mentioned. I will bring this up when I get my referral to cardiology thanks mate

I’m pleased you said that’s better than expected as I’d not a clue mate do feel a bit better hearing that. The letter was written by the critical care doctor not heart specialist as had moved off the coranary care ward by time I discharged

They treat just about anything as far as I know mate there have been a few notable exceptions for operations for certain extremely rare conditions,  even certain cosmetic procedures are available if someone plays the mental health act I know a vile nasty woman who got breast enlargement by saying it caused her depression and they even give sex changes in hitch is pretty ridiculous

Henda, are there limits to what NHS covers or is it most treatments for illness that is free?

Everything is free minus some dental treatments and some very expensive procedures that are only really possible in the US. If you need emergency treatment then you're generally in good hands. Anything else however and waiting times can be ridiculous. Weeks, months, even years.

After care in a ward is generally pretty shit. Good chance you survive the emergency procedure, but then RIP in the ward if you don't have your wits about you.

A lot of people take the piss with the NHS. For example it's pretty common for semi wealthy African women who might be expecting a difficult (and expensive) birth to go on "holiday" to the UK to coincide with her due date. She'll get free maternity treatment.

You also have people who claim mental health issues to get cosmetic procedures like breast implants and tummy tucks. Takes years of trying to game the system, but if you're determined then eventually you'll get your way.

They also provide hormones etc for transitioning. At one point you had a bunch of families with prepubescent young boys moving to the UK from the EU to take advantage of this.

The NHS is in desperate need of modernisation, but it is a money pit andno matter how much money you through its way, it will still remain at best a shitty service.

Germany has the best healthcare system.

That’s good news, good luck with your transitioning. 🤣

Go see an endocrinologist and urologist. After going unchecked that long on TRT you need your PSA checked and need to make sure your prostate and bladder are cancer free.

If you're mega wealthy then US.
If you're well off probably the US, but in the UK you can also take out a private healthcare plan which would put you on par with the US.
For the working man busting his ass, living pay cheque to pay cheque. UK
For the unemployed. UK

Pretty much my experience once moved to wards, brief visit once a day from a different doctor nearly every single day who clearly hadn’t read notes properly or spoke to other doctors all suggesting different things. They spent a week going in circles trying to correct my low salt levels I just got sick and discharged self

Ah ok, although it's expensive, going through a doctor at least there's mandatory labs every 4 months, if something creeps up my doc will tell me to donate blood. Anyway, wishing you a speedy recovery bro.
