rob my blood was too thick. I was donating and taking aspirin but every time I gave blood the girl had to work and twist that damn needle and my blood would barely flow. You could just see that it was thick. I knew this could not be good so I reluctantly got off.Been a year and a couple months and I feel ok..not great but ok. I am 63 and I thought I better take care of this shit. I forgot to ask her what my test level was. I’m sure it’s low because I’m able to train pretty hard but I don’t constantly have the urge to hump on the old ladies leg anymore. She appreciates it but this is about me.

What was your dose? Just curious. I also have naturally thick blood

Rambone I was on 100 mg. Doc prescribed it and I thought I was doing everything right.Maybe I could have hydrated better but I finally decided I had to get that thinned out.

Damn. Standard dose of peace. Did you tinker around with dosing frequency at all? It sucks there's nothing we can take to lower hematocrit. The only thing I've seen mentioned is grapefruit

many years ago when I was powerlifting I took higher doses (mostly test and dianabol)but I had been completely clean for many years when I started the TRT. I was so out of the loop I didn’t even know I could legally get testosterone.A pharmacist buddy of mine told me to get my doc to hook me up and she did. I decided to get off because of the thick blood. I may just be prone to having this issue but I did go see her last month and my blood was thinner so maybe this was a good decision.

Rob, I always thought of you as the American Henda.

What the Fuck is a "Henda" anyway. A gypsy version of a Honda?

Whats the easiest way to treat it?

easiest way is an antihypertensive aka 'blood pressure' medication.  you'll have to see a 'healthcare provider' for a prescription but the meds are inexpensive and well-tolerated and you'll add good quality years to your life.  Chronic blood pressure leads to debilitating issues that ruin your quality of life, like heart failure, a stroke, kidney failure/dialysis .. so your few remaining years cant be fully enjoyed.

prescription guidelines do say try diet & exercise for 6 months first, but few can stay consistent to get to safe blood pressure levels.  Lots of cardio and shedding some bodyweight will work for most but not everyone has time, effort, or desire ... and that's ok.  we have pills for that now  ;D

Glad to see you are still kickin' it Henda. Get your chemistry in check then click your ruby red slippers together and get the heck out of that place. "There is no place like home", said Dorothy in the Wizard of OZ. Note: It worked for her.

Get well soon brother. Looks like you dodged a bullet here. Focus on the important stuff now, so much more to life than hoisting weights. Stay healthy mate, wishing you a speedy recovery.

Lol! Thanks, apparently some folks didn't get the reference to the Wizard of Oz. For them, Tbombz is likely more up their alley. I forget that some Getbiggers are still juveniles and too young to know the story line of the Wizard of OZ. Now if Henda's nurse were Glinda the good witch, he might want to rethink how soon he wants to go home.

Here's a get-well gift for you, Henda. Try not to get too excited. That might be bad for your heart. On the other hand, it could divert some excess blood away from your heart. ;)
