It's an absolute nightmare fight for both. I think either of them can win it, but it's just too hard to pick - you should never really bet against either guy when they fight. Fury has off-nights when he's not mentally focused, but if he's ready and understands what Usyk is going to bring to him, then he can box smart from a distance and use all of his size and reach to put a bit of a beating on Usyk.
Usyk simply won't be denied, though. He's hungrier than Tyson now, and if he figures out a way to get inside and time Fury, then he can do damage. I think it will be a classic fight. Very close, and both guys are going to take punishment. My hunch is that Fury takes it, though. Can't wait.

Important point. So many fans of boxing have never faced a guy in the ring in a real boxing fight. I only had five fights in the ring but until you have gotten hit in the face several times you sometimes don't have a clue.
Put on a 12 OZ glove and tell me how soft they are. Nope it's hard and making a fist makes it even harder. I have limited fight experience. I was 4-1. The lost was on my first fight in a boxing gym when the ref stopped the fight because I was getting destroyed. I went in the ring with zero boxing experience thinking I could beat a heavy weight chubby 16 year old who was training for a match. Every shot I gave him he blocked and every punch he threw seemed to connect. The rest of the fights I actually trained for. Last fight I was knocked down in the first round but I got up and I was doing great after the knock down.
I stopped boxing because I wanted to stay pretty and because getting punched hurts. Nobody plays boxing. You play football and basketball. Boxing is not something you play. Every once in awhile especially after hitting the heavy bag I think I can get in the ring again. Then I have a moment of clarity and know I would get destroyed against a young boxer. It's true an old guy will still have a power punch but the footwork, reactions, stamina and all the rest goes out the window.

I have boxed. I don't have to box. It is my choice. I am capable of closing the distance and taking it to the ground at anytime. I chose not to in the 2nd and took Clegg down immedietely too bad that slam is not on the video but regardless you would never get back up. The ref had to tell me to let Clegg up at the end of both rounds. Set me up for a KO lol you would maybe land 1 punch if you were lucky and I decided to play with you on the feet.

he would freeze and if you do that you are a sitting duck. there is as you say a world of difference between hitting a bag and going in against someone who wants to knock you out. very honest post.
I boxed to a good regional standard but once it went beyond that I was up against quick skilled practitioners and could no longer rely on being heavy handed. I also sparred with pro's and the difference is night and day.

Don't want to see a rematch in case Fury ends up controlling the whole fight like he did a good portion of this one and then for people to Usyk got lucky in the first. He won the fight like a true champion who was up against it. Nothing else left to prove against Fury.
