I still shudder when reminded goalies used to not wear head/face protection of any kind. After a shot from a professional player, a puck is point-blank a lethal projectile.

I remember watching sportscenter and the announcer goes that is probably the most courageous thing I ever saw in sports. He was describing Tiger Woods bending down to line up a putt on the green with his alleged sore knee. baha ha ha ha ha ha ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
