They are... Crazy tough.
Blades on feet, stick in hand, 100 mph pucks, running into boards, fighting, etc...

Bodybuilders train and diet for 16 weeks for a contest, they get food poisoning during the final 5 days, and drop out of the contest

But they’re still warriors, and dangerous fighters

It’s a historically rough game for generally tough fellas.

I still shudder when reminded goalies used to not wear head/face protection of any kind. After a shot from a professional player, a puck is point-blank a lethal projectile.

   I remember watching sportscenter and the announcer goes that is probably the most courageous thing I ever saw in sports. He was describing Tiger Woods bending down to line up a putt on the green with his alleged sore knee.  baha ha ha ha ha ha  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
