I asked and she would not let me take a Pic. I offered a 20 and she still said she would rather not be photographed and held up her hands. She was surprisingly sweet but is in really bad shape. I thought it was a dude at first.
She looks exactly like the mugshots. She's still homeless and absolutely filthy. 100% mentally ill.
Tommy, I asked if she remembered you but she seemed completely lost and spaced out when I started bringing up her past. I told her about getbig and really nicely requested a picture that's when I offered her money. Bystanders were giving me disgusted looks like I was asking for a blow job or something.
She started talking about winning the NPC and being in the Ms. Olympia but then started to get obviously, visibly depressed. We talked for a few minutes but it got weird, she didn't want to be recognized. She started street preaching so we parted ways.

last night when I got into town I went out to find a convenience store and within a couple of blocks of leaving the downtown area I was in I noticed quite a few transient types. One dude seemed to be following me. The jail is downtown and they bond people out in groups so after dark downtown is dead except for these assholes being released from jail. All of them transient, tweaker types. Anyway I just realized that if I was going to wander around the area I just needed to be aware of my surroundings....and I don't know shit about Ft. Worth.
So tonight I decide to try and find a good time. According to Google maps there's a bar district about a mile away. Too close for a lyft, so I walk and I get to an area that's dead. No one out except this one person who coming from a park. This person is talking to themselves. And I'm thinking "shit, here we go again. Another one of these assholes walking right towards me. Is this asshole going to start following me too?"
So, I look directly at it as it walks straight at me- looking crazy, laughing outloud to itself, talking to itself etc... up til now I assumed it was a man because of the facial hair...but I notice he's really short and small framed for a man. Bur then as it walks past me I notice tits. Small tits but tits nonetheless. So I thought wtf? Is it a tranny? She walks past me( we're going opposite directions) and I'm turning it over in my head "what a weird looking fucker"....
That's when I was like 'shit that looked like Denise Rutkowski from her mugshots....no way." So I'm walking and I Google 'where is Denise rutkowski now." Google immediately returns with her mugshots and 2nd link says she relocated to Fort Worth... I was like holy shit. There is no way GB will believe me if I don't go and confirm get pic etc...So I turned to start following her but she had already made it a full city block so I shout out 'Denise!' She spun around immediately. I just thought the exact same thing: what are the fucking odds?

She struggled with memory. I asked if she knew you. I assumed Pheil was pronounced Fail. But it was like a fog to her. I said he said you were roommates for a little bit. She just blinked. I said he used to work at golds gym. Same reaction. To the best of my memory I thought those were some of the things you mentioned on GB. After I walked off I thought 'what would jog her memory?' So I was going to catch up with her again and say 'do you remember the guy who escaped to South America?" But it was pointless.
It was sad for me to see. I can only imagine what a bummer it would be for you guys who knew her back in the day.

i'd say that in most cases mildly destroyed people take up BB in the first place. Then they get some self esteem and attention etc and if/when the times get rough ( injury, accident, illness) which forces them to stop the activity it destroys them even more so they end up worse than they were before they began lifting.

True, but BB takes away the visual as well. I guy from my country,a competitive BB, suffered an injury that made him completely give up lifting. Ended up severely depressed and rarely leaves his house. Went from a beast to a regular chap

The streets are cold and mean, and when you want to know the true meaning of loneliness and being alone,coupled with hopelessness, this is when you find out.
I`ve been out there more than a few times in my past life and it`s a cold blooded world.

I understand what you are saying. A lot of insecure people take up the syringe lifestyle because it gives them a body that gives them a lot of attention. Then when health, arrest or finances takes away their temporary drug physique it crushes them because their whole identity is being that muscle guy. Also when juiced they feel confident, aggressive and in a positive state of mind. When off especially after cycling on and off for years they feel meek, nervous and depressed. It becomes a vicious cycle of wanting to feel good again. Steroid use has it's own addiction.

Exactly. it's an addiction at this stage. Every carnal joy has a tendency to lead to addiction. Sex, drugs, food, drinks, gambling, attention. That's why it's so important not to neglect mental/spiritual health and pursue other challenges/hobbies in life.

i see a one time incredible pro 'ukjeff'knows of him ..won mr america was ifbb as well,great guy.he had some incredible body parts and all year condition was stage ready,now 60 or so looks great but regular with some mass in some parts yet ,def 'fit'for his age but he was awesome .

SO tonight I walk back in the direction of the bar (because I never got there last night) and I walk past the park I saw her in last night. And no surprise: she's there. Sleeping or trying to sleep on the concrete.
I walk up to her and noticed she's in the company of some other amphibious creature. A black dude or woman. I couldn't tell. Anyway when I got near she fucking jumped up armed with a stick and star yelling 'get back! What the fuck! I'll fuck you up.!!
I said whoa I'm the guy who spoke to you last night. . And she dropped the stick and apologized. Calmed down instantly. She's clearly schizo and high as a kite. There's no sweet side tonight, very unpredictable. Carrying on multiple conversations with imaginary people and ne too.
I asked for a selfie with her and she said no. I asked several different ways and she said 'no.no no pictures. I'd rather not. I can't stop you but I don't want a picture. " So I reiterated 'a selfie with you.'
I said ' your friends wanted me to tell you hi'. And I told her as much as I know about Tommy then I brought up The Scott , looking like Dave Draper.
She was just stupefied. Having manic episodes and lucid intervals. I gave her a 20 and she refused. I said I'm not trying to insult you. This is for taking the time to talk to me. She said 'no, you don't have to give me money for that' eventually she accepted the 20. Lastly I said 'I just wanted to let you know you still have friends and fans that still think of you.'
And that will probably be the last time anyone, who could possibly recognize or care, will ever hear or see of her again.

I wasn't going to add anymore to this story but as a post script.
I'm leaving Ft. WORTH today. Odd little town. Seems like it would be a lot of fun on the weekends or during the right time of year. Many of the local women are exactly what you think a Texas cowgirl should look like: blonde, big tits, firm, tan, fit, and full of goofy little stereotypical sayings such as "we lik'em big in Texas!" Said with enthusiasm , a big grin and a southern drawl. I thought about extending my stay to try to see what the weekend offers.
Anyway, I thought Denise's sordid tale was behind me but alas. I went to grab food for my hotel room and there's a transient dude digging through a dumpster. He's pissed off, yelling, talking out loud, throwing shit all over the side walk.... now earlier in the week I walked past this dumpster and it stunk so fucking bad I made a mental note to walk on the opposite side of the street; think old grease from a fryer and hot garbage baked in 100 degree Texas heat.
So I cross the street to avoid the bum, to avoid the trash He's throwing everywhere and to avoid the stink. As I cross the street I realize he's not yelling/talking to himself, he's yelling at Denise who is laying down in a flower planter that is built up around a tree. (Think of a nice touristy downtown and the oversized planters and trees that dot the sidewalks)
Anyhow, she starts yelling at the dude, the dude is yelling at her- just bat shit crazy bum stuff. Anyway the guy charges across the street and she starts running toward me asking to use my phone. I tell her No and keep walking.
But the guy doesn't stop, it looks like he's going to start kicking her ass. It looks like he's going to punch her in the face and I stop and say "hey man, don't. " he now focuses on me and says "oh you want to be part of this too?" And steps toward me. He pulls his hand back further in an odd way, not like a punch so I look closer and the fucker has a box cutter in his hand and he's about a foot away from her and she's way too close to me, reaching for my phone (which is in my hand. I leave CVS. Step outside and I don't see either of them. I look around and off in the distance I can hear their lunatic conversation at the volume of screaming and yelling. I can see them walking side by side arguing over some garbage procured from the dumpster.
Eh... Ft Worth has its charms but I'm not extending my stay. In fact I don't ever need to see it again.

I'm leaving Ft. WORTH today. Odd little town. Seems like it would be a lot of fun on the weekends or during the right time of year. Many of the local women are exactly what you think a Texas cowgirl should look like: blonde, big tits, firm, tan, fit, and full of goofy little stereotypical sayings such as "we lik'em big in Texas!" Said with enthusiasm , a big grin and a southern drawl. I thought about extending my stay to try to see what the weekend offers.
Anyway, I thought Denise's sordid tale was behind me but alas. I went to grab food for my hotel room and there's a transient dude digging through a dumpster. He's pissed off, yelling, talking out loud, throwing shit all over the side walk.... now earlier in the week I walked past this dumpster and it stunk so fucking bad I made a mental note to walk on the opposite side of the street; think old grease from a fryer and hot garbage baked in 100 degree Texas heat.
So I cross the street to avoid the bum, to avoid the trash He's throwing everywhere and to avoid the stink. As I cross the street I realize he's not yelling/talking to himself, he's yelling at Denise who is laying down in a flower planter that is built up around a tree. (Think of a nice touristy downtown and the oversized planters and trees that dot the sidewalks)
Anyhow, she starts yelling at the dude, the dude is yelling at her- just bat shit crazy bum stuff. Anyway the guy charges across the street and she starts running toward me asking to use my phone. I tell her No and keep walking.
But the guy doesn't stop, it looks like he's going to start kicking her ass. It looks like he's going to punch her in the face and I stop and say "hey man, don't. " he now focuses on me and says "oh you want to be part of this too?" And steps toward me. He pulls his hand back further in an odd way, not like a punch so I look closer and the fucker has a box cutter in his hand and he's about a foot away from her and she's way too close to me, reaching for my phone (which is in my hand. SO tonight I walk back in the direction of the bar (because I never got there last night) and I walk past the park I saw her in last night. And no surprise: she's there. Sleeping or trying to sleep on the concrete.
I walk up to her and noticed she's in the company of some other amphibious creature. A black dude or woman. I couldn't tell. Anyway when I got near she fucking jumped up armed with a stick and star yelling 'get back! What the fuck! I'll fuck you up.!!
I said whoa I'm the guy who spoke to you last night. . And she dropped the stick and apologized. Calmed down instantly. She's clearly schizo and high as a kite. There's no sweet side tonight, very unpredictable. Carrying on multiple conversations with imaginary people and ne too.
I asked for a selfie with her and she said no. I asked several different ways and she said 'no.no no pictures. I'd rather not. I can't stop you but I don't want a picture. " So I reiterated 'a selfie with you.'

She was just stupefied. Having manic episodes and lucid intervals. I gave her a 20 and she refused. I said I'm not trying to insult you. This is for taking the time to talk to me. As far as the pictures go... all I can say is getting a pic of her was my very first instinct the second I realized who she was. After speaking to her it just became less and less important as the reality of it set in. There wasn't anything humorous about it. She said one or two things that made any sense at all but one of those things was a sincere, lucid, request that I not take her picture. The only other time she was coherent was when she told me why she walked away from the sport. Even when she took the 20 she looked at it like I had just passed her a candy wrapper. I don't know, it just seemed like kicking a person who's already down. If she had any dignity left at all, which she doesn't, it was in her request to not have her pic taken.

Ha! Funny you say that because I went to the Stockyards. It was a Wednesday night. Not much going on but the one thing that stood out were how good looking the girls there are. Like you said: it's like they walked right out of a country music video. Each one wearing cut off blue Jean shorts, blond, tan, and wearing cowboy hats. Shit, there was a Mexican girl trotting around on horseback. Brunette-obviously being Mexican- in a cowboy hat, half top and Jean shorts.
Also I fucking loved the traditional attitude they had. Very warm and seemingly very happy to cater to a man.
I'm up in Portland. It sucks, every fucking woman here either looks like a bull dyke or has green, blue or pink hair. When you see a good looking girl- relatively speaking- they're usually nagging their beta husband's or being total bitches.

Or do you doubt that I traveled to Fort Worth? I travel a lot. Every month I go to Chicago. I used to live in Detroit, I currently live in Portland Oregon just outside of downtown. A few months ago I was in Key West FL, I go there twice a year. In the last few years I've been to Greece, Germany, Hawaii and Mexico as well. Do you find this hard to believe? Or is it just traveling to Fort Worth that splits your wig?

Hypodermic needles, shards of glass, razor blades...are you confounded by this? Well, get this, believe it or not, Detroit was worse. I actually had the sad misfortune of watching one of my close friends murdered. And I knew at least 4 other friends that were murdered. but only suffered through the experience of having to witness one. In Detroit it's just a consequence of extreme poverty and urban decay, not related to a social cause like Libturdia Portland.
So running into Denise was quite a coincidence but only because I knew who she was (after all people encounter her everyday, most just don't give a fuck that she was a bodybuilder 30 years ago) but overall it ranks fairly low on my personal list of 'shocking' experiences.
I get that running into a bag lady may be the extreme limit of your life's experiences as to be so shocking that it is unbelievable. But you'd be surprised what happens when you leave the house.
The context and tenor of this saga with Denise as well as people who are familiar with other shit I've posted, would indicate to that it's not only plausible but true.
