There is something off about Derek to me. It looks like he shoots his lats in the front double biceps shot. They look bruised and shiny. I strongly agree that Hadi should win. I'd have Derek 2nd still. Hadi looks great. Much better than last year. If he makes his normal improvements from prejudging to the finals, it should be special. What I said about Dereks lats also looks to apply to his arms. Hadi is closer to beating Derek in the rear shots than Derek is to beating Hadi in the front and side shots.

Yeah, Derek has absolutely zero striations in his delts, chest, legs look smooth when he doesn't flex them to the max. His BDB is insane, I give him that, but even in the back lat spread I got Hadi ahead.

I'm even starting to question having him in 2nd. I think Samson beats him in the front shots for sure. Derek takes the back. It really comes down to the side shots.

If Derek drys out more by the finals, he wins IMO. If Hadi drys out anymore he’ll get flat. There should be no one else in the mix between 1st and 2nd.
On a side note…. If I hear Palumbo say “it’s because they came on too late and their “biorhythms” are off” I’m going to fucking explode. That maybe one of the most ridiculous excuses I’ve ever heard in my 48 years in this industry….fuck!

Derek wins from the back and has admittedly better overall muscle shape but from the front has zero separation and doesn't even hit the most muscular correctly.

Agree Hadi for 1 and Samson for 2 Lunsford quads just look subpar compared to Hadi to me and he still has no calves. Samson has a complete lower body with calves and looks fuller in the upper body than Andrew Jacked he also has a narrower waist than Lunsford. Curry legs disappear in this lineup. And jacked arms can't compete with Samson. Samson deserves the #2 spot at least from the front his back still may be lacking but his overall leg mass with a tapered waist and big arms just gives him the edge to me although there could be more peak in his biceps. Hadi is the clear winner. Then again wtf happened to Krizzo? And yeah Lunsford did something to his lats maybe some kind of inflammatory agent shot into his armpit lat from the front looks weird from the front.

I don't think much of Hadi's physique. Derek looks a lot different than the training photos indicated and in this case, "different" ain't "better".
I think that Derek needs to stand up straight when he is posing. He is a shorter man but hiding away as Arnold put it, doesn't help him. This bowlegged relaxed front stance looks stupid no mattr who is doing it. A side pose where they squat to somehow "enchance" their fat ass and overbuilt hamstrings is pure retardation masquerading as "art". It looks squatty even when taller men do it. DUMB.
And fake tans need to go. Even supposed black guys use that diarrhea stuff and it looks awful. Get a nice bronze tan by laying in the sun instead of dipping yourself in the River Shitz.

This would do away with the tanning and homoerotic posing which has, for years, been quite ridiculous.
Computers won't ask for blowjobs or force you to "pay your dues," either.

Krizo has a whole lot of muscle in that back double bicep shot but he's hitting the pose so poorly and awkwardly it doesn't show well.
And Hunter's lats are like Nasser's lats if Nasser had all the lard liposuctioned off.

Your method would be ideal but who would determine the perfect model that the A.I. (that's two words) program would compare the competitors to? Because, under such a system, Flex Wheeler would have 10 Mr Olympias and Ronnie and Dorian would have zero.

I know some rules have changed and the equipment is tons better than we had (they have slimmed down the shoulder pads a ton which increases mobility) - but there are so many freak athletes today.

Hadi easily beats Derek in my opinion but his "demeanor" ugly facial looks is hard to overcome. Like, do people feel sympathetic towards towards the person as a whole you know?

Agreed. Over the years there have been a range of bodybuilders to compete. From laughable to monstrosities. But usually the Olympia has produced an impressive winner. You know, like something Michaelangelo carved out. But ever since Rhoden was accused of rape the quality of the Mr. O winner has gone downhill.....badly. I think Lunsford is the worst of the bunch by far. Hell even Brandon Curry looked somewhat decent the year he won, still should never have been Mr. OLYMPIA but looking at some pictures of Derek, it's just absurd to think of him as Mr. Olympia.
I'd rather see the NABBA or the IFBB International guys. I think it's impossible to be the size dimensions of a top IFBB pro and present a good looking physique. IMO Krizo or Grimes looked the best.

I'm in the minority but I thought Regan was the best he's ever been and thought he was better than Krizo.

He probably injected some local acting agents in his butt which get rid of the fat and subcutaneous water last minute, hence the revolting abscesses and injection marks
