I agree. I think the general public gets very little in return for our overseas investments, be that in Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine, or Israel. Most of the tax money spent on those endeavors ends up in the pockets of insiders.
I did find it interesting that Biden said he considered himself a Zionist. IMO Trump has done more tangible things to support Israel than Biden has especially with the embassy to Jerusalem move, but I would be surprised if Trump called himself a Zionist (I don't think he has ever referred to himself as such).

I enjoyed the Carlson interview with Massie. It took a few sessions to make it through the 2 hours. I liked that they spoke about AIPAC without antisemitism. It was a frank discussion, much easier to watch, and more informative than the CNN/Fox stuff.
