No wonder your guns don't grow - you gotta approach every single one of your 55 biceps sets like it's your last one :D

Is he one of those men who, because of their insecurity, won't take off their long sleeved shirt until they are pumped?
-
Who cares. He will never win the Mr O and will be nothing in the bodybuilding world.

My guess is he is higher rated in Bodybuilding circles than you are
Easy to criticize when you don't put yourself up for scrutiny

He speaks like a Nazi.
Does anyone besides me find this off-putting?

Didn’t watch but I’ve done 50 set biceps workouts many times. I’m a huge believer in volume for arms.

I don't do that many sets in a month.

the way he hits hammer curls in the last excercise is so lame and stupid. Many people do this to show off big weights. When I see this I know for sure they have low IQ
There is jsut no full contraction and not the stimuli it needs to grow fully.

Hammer curls can actually be beneficial for people with elbow pain when pronation/supination isn´t possible

Mostly all partial reps with momentum, and weight that is far too heavy for him......yeah he`s a gym animal.
Guys a fucking clown !

One man´s meat is another man´s poison.
I also like using a Tricep bar for overhead french press. The Neutral hand position is perfect (for me)

I know exactly what you mean but cheating movements do place "a lof of stress" on muscle at certain points in the execution. For example there can be tremendous stress just from the negatives if done somewhat correctly. The real negative is the high injury risk. If there was zero injury risk I would do proper sets but also insanely high loads, even sets of pure negatives for low reps but I just can't, everything would tear ;D
To illustrate what I mean, here's an idiotic bench press, but imagine the stress placed on the pec and triceps, as he reverses the motion. Lots of shot putters seem to do these idiotic, from an injury risk POV, benches.

You made my point. Different goals. Hypertrophy vs explosive power. Totally different. They work on just the most absolute quick explosive power they can achieve. As this is what their sport is. Ricky Bruch did the same sort of stuff. Explosive cheat reps. A throw is a just pure all out explosion of power.
guy in the OP's vid is a bodybuilder not an olympic thrower. His focus should be very specific hypertrophy.
-
It's common nowadays for people to have a very miopic understanding of why athletes in certain sports use specific training modalities.
Not everyone is a bodybuilder whose goal is hypertrophy.
Even some professional strength coaches don't undertand this. They are the lousy strength coaches.
Hypertrophy training is actually quite sub-optimal for athletics and will most likely decrease your athleticism.

Yes, even a lot of Div. 1 college football teams have terrible strength coaches and programs.

I braced for impact before watching the video. I was wrong.
