Cedric looked great.

Given the different eras, Sergio was better. Much better. Had Sergio's prime coincided with Cedric's, Sergio would've won everything.

OP loves dead bodybuilders and is Constantine obsessing over Mike Mentzer, Mike Quinn, Mike Mattarazzo, Paul Graham, and now Sergio & Cedric..... The sordid existence of the last of the shmohicans.

Sergio is listed between 5’9-5’10 tall and most of his contest weights were about 225. He would look tiny next to Cedric. And his lower body is non existent by today’s standards, or even the 80’s and 90’s.  Zero sweep on his quads. Weak back too. Sergio and Arnold don’t translate to the new era guys. Their structures just aren’t there. And no one has show pics of Sergio ripped because they don’t exist.

Well to be fair, all of those guys except maybe Matarrazo who expressed regrets, would be happy to be remembered on a Board like this one. And Sergio lived to a solid age and trained until he passed. He trained weird when he was 70 but he still trained and loved being in the gym.

Met Cedric when he won  NYPro. Super nice guy ,we’ve talked for 20-30 mins and you could tell he is not  forced to interact with fans.
His death was shocker .I thought he would be very cautious  to make sure he sees his  3 or 4 kids growing up.
Cedric  was modern day Haney and yes def. better than Sergio.

What was weird about his training in his late years?

What was weird about his training in his late years?

First of all, his voice (with that Cuban accent) was very high pitched and weird. And he was very vocal when doing his reps, with a lot of emphatic breathing included. Second of all, he did very many extremely quick and shallow reps as he made all that noise. But he was still HUGE, plus extremely friendly. Don’t know whether medical situations caused all that.

I think he had a death wish. Suffered from terrible anxiety and panic attacks.

Isn’t Cedric the one Arnold sort of dry humped on stage?

The greats would've been great in any era. If Cedric were around back in the 60' 70's he'd be a top 10/ top5 pro. If Sergio were around in the 2010's/20's he'd be an Olympia contender.

I thought Sergio training with Arthur Jones was weird.
