President Donald Trump has urged Iran’s remaining leadership to come to the negotiating table and make a deal because Israel has “the most lethal” American military equipment and more is on the way.

Iran has proven to be very strategically bad when it comes to war.

  • Dumb people think Trump is smart.
Interesting how the orange buffoon is doing his best to interject himself and the US into a conflict that has nothing to do with us.

"We have control of Iran's skies..." etc.

"We" are not involved.  Yet.  But dumbass will change that.

Shocker! I agree with Coach on this issue.

For one thing we (the U.S.) have been involved with and has supported The State of Israel since 1948. The U.S. and Israel have had a strong allegiance since 1967, following the Six-Day-War. Also, we have long had a strong military presence in Israel.

Iran's nuclear program is of great concern to the U.S. Unlike Iran, Israel does not deny having a nuclear program.

Although the U.S. only imports somewhere around 12% of our crude oil from Iran. Iran is a major oil producer and a significant exporter which indirectly affects the U.S.
In a nutshell, the Middle East has a long history of conflict which impacts the U.S. both directly and indirectly.   Iran's support for groups like Hamas and Hezbollah is seen as a source of instability and a threat to U.S. interests.

U.S. intervention could be seen as a way to address all these concerns as well as help prevent conflict escalation in the Middle East.

Like it or not, this is a small world and what one country does affects other countries.

I’ll just repost a comment I made on another platform…..

“Of course no one wants it but we also don’t need Iran to have nukes either waking up and all day chanting “Death to America and Death to Israel”. Not sure why people can’t understand that you can’t negotiate with terrorists and if you do they’ll lie straight to your face.

It’s not like he’s trying to start the war when in fact he’s trying to prevent it and end it with Israel”

“ So you think Israel is more of a threat than the 28 UN states including 15 Arab that don’t recognize Israel that are direct threats with Iran being the #1 terrorist state that wants it eliminated….plus the US?

Really bro? They’re the US’ only Western ally and you’re saying they don’t have a right to sovereignty and to defend themselves?”

Trump has been saying for the last ten years so this nothing new.

Israel denies having nuclear weapons.  You're on the wrong side on this one.  I'll chalk it up to your age and that you came up in an era of intense "holocaust guilt."

You are mistake in understanding my post.

This is an Israel-Iran conflict.  Trumpy said prior that the US would not be involved in it.  Yet here he is.... saying "we" have the skies.  I don't remember any US soldiers or citizens securing the skies.   Trumpy is now bragging that "we" won't take out their leader "yet".

That's a whole lot of "we" for someone that claims we are not getting involved.

Yeah, the wording has been odd.

Cruz echoed similar sentiments recently.
