that's incredibly idealistic and also far from the truth. You may be selfish and greedy but human nature is far more than that. Capitalism is a system for generating wealth, not healthy humans, good societies, balance etc its a wealth generating, progress driven structure which has huge benefits but lots of drawbacks. The main drawback is that it breeds inequality which worsens (this is an observable fact now) and treats resources as infinite which is not reality.
