I agree. Thankfully, I don’t live in the city running this experiment. I suspect it’ll breed entitlement, erode work ethic, and drive out businesses, capital, and entrepreneurs. But since I’m not there, I actually see it as a win-win. If it fails it is unlikely to be attempted elsewhere. If it succeeds, then what's the downside to me?
