I like Chris's physique but he has to get his shit together.
According to dorian, chris was supposed to be in england since last week and he is still in New Jersey training with a friend of his
Maybe he doesn't want to tear every muscle in his body, like Dorian did.Epic precursor of whats to come.
I'm sure he doesn't give a f**k what YOU think Bluto you gimp.
f**k Comier..... Dies anyone actually give a shit if he competes? Same old story. Give his contracts to someone who isnt a douche.;)
;)Oh that I can pretty much gaurantee!!! I know it for a fact...Olympia is only what...11 weeks away or so? I bet right now he's either doing one of three things..
I guarantee Chris is spending as much time chasing some of his local "girlfriends" in New Jersey as he is training and paying attention to his diet.
Maybe he doesn't want to tear every muscle in his body, like Dorian did.
It came with a price of 6 sandows.Maybe three of them deserved. :P
We will never know what would have happend if he would come in sliced and diced.
It's a sad loss.
Maybe three of them deserved. :PMonster original response.
you're all morons. cormier has no obligation to keep bodybuilding. to you guys who obsess over this shit, it may be your entire life, but for normal people working out is basically something they do in passing. to label someone a failure for not reaching their bodybuilding potential is absurd. you have no say in the direction he chooses to take his life. maybe he just doesn't give a shit. who cares if he has great genetics, if he doesn't want to pursue bodybuilding (and why would anyone to begin with?), it's probably for the better.
and also, who the hell are you people to judge his lifestyle? plenty of people smoke weed, get drunk and go clubbing and live happy lives. i doubt many of you are aware of this, as your social grasp extends only as far as the internet.
in short - it's his life, you idiots. leave the f**cker alone.

he fact is that bodybuilding is not a sport, it's a hobby. additionally, i believe that in most cases interest in bodybuilding stems from extreme body dysmorphia. i'd venture to guess that most of you on this message board spend excessive ammounts of time standing in front of a mirror. though we can't fully understand the mindsets of these pros, we can at least realize that they're merely human. knowing this, it should be understood that those who take it the furthest are probably the ones with the greatest insecurities. maybe cormier is happy the way he is, no?
His nickname is actually "Rainbow".
Don't think he got it from winning in San Franscisco.

Monster original response.
There has seldom been an Olympia winner without a controversial win or 2.
Scott...'66 (Sipes kicked his ass)
Arnold...'72 and '80 (Oliva and the rest of the top 5 in '80)
Zane...just ugh. (Particularly vs. Mentxer in '79)
Haney...'90 (Labrada)
Yates...'94 (Shawn and Levrone)
Coleman...2001 (Cutler), 2002 (Kevin and Gunter)
I know your comment was somewhat in jest, I just hato to see so many hate on the man after the fact... truth is, during his reign, even Nasser, Kevin and Shawn acknowledged that Yates would never be beaten on size and conditioning (1994 notwithstanding!).
He's Hawaiian?
I think you're reading this the wrong way mate. People have big confidence in Cormier's abilities. We just wants him to fulfill his potential.
Cormier has been bitching over his placings the last few years.
Chances are, that if he would've trained, dieted and lived with the discipline of a Yates, a Coleman, nobody could've denied him the ASC or the Olympia.
But perhaps Cormier is afraid of maxing out his potential. Maybe he's more comfortable not knowing whether he could've been the greatest.
Now he was just a contender.
Still, I think he should've won the Olympia in 1999.

Yeah he is half assing being a pro bb with the only five guys in the entire history of BB with more pro wins than him.... 420 Diesel...I feel you son!! these cats think that to be the MR. O you have to be some spokesperson or saint....helll CC is the one of the few that refuses to clean up his image...he just brings it!!!Yea okay...the only things he brings are his cell phone so he can keep in contact with all his bitches/ho's...his cell phone CHARGER...and he brings his custom RACE CARD so he can play it when he doesnt get placed where he wants.
He's more comfortable living the sterotype. I think he thinks being so embedded in ------culture...if he won the O or ASC...he'd be an UncleTom."You can take the brother from the gettho but you can't take the gettho out of the brother".(This has been modified slightly to meet GetBig's harsh new standards)
He'd rather worry about gittin' 20's...having a pitbull or two as a pet...downloading hip/hop/rap ringtones for his cell phone, watching BET channel and babbling endlessly and epically on his cell phone telling all his bitches/ho's how they are his one and only baby boo.
He won lots of pro shos and he does have one of the greatest physiques of all time but like I think Hedge said...if he lived the discipline life of a Ronnie or Jay or Yates or Haney...he'd win the big ones...HOWEVER...living the sterotype is more important it appears.
You can't buy class, boys....you can't buy class.
YAtes deserved the win in 94 - he was still bigger and better conditioned than anyone else on stageAgreed.
97, on the other hand . . . with his torn bi and tri he looked like he had one of those underdeveloped gimp arms. Nasser was unbeleivably good that night. Dorian wouldn't have complained if he had lostIf Nasser had a back to match his front, Dorian might have lost...unfortunately, Nasser just never matched up from the back.
