I bet Ronster could Press them,he is a Beast.
-
Nuthin but a peanut baby
-
who would be surprised to see him shrug a straight bar loaded with 500 lbs. not any of us. so why are 250lb dumbells surprising? i bet you anything he dropped them on the ground when he was done, so its not like he walked around trying to delicately rack them.
-
Poor guy. He would be useless in most gyms. Not enough quality weight.
-
looks like they cleaned all the rust off of those
-
What a useless pic/post. Sure, we can easily see he wins number 9 from this picture.
Moron.

I hope he isn't using straps. Not saying he is not the strongest BBtoday but why would he use straps for that. He shoudl be able to hold those. They are heavy but I have lifted 250's with no straps at The Gym. Unless he is doing just so many reps he has to have them. I don't like ti when people use straps. Get stronger forearms and grip if you are going to lift heavy. Ronnie is probably doing allot of reps so I don't want to sound like I think he is weak or anything cause I know he isn't. Hell he did 300 lb DB rows while he was here for 12. I just don't know why people use straps.

This pic is new? Looks like an old scan to me. So how will this win him #9?

the pic is prolly new it's just that the gym is ancient.

You can usually kind of tell by clothing. But since Ronnie has been wearing the same Polyester matching workout suits for the past 10 years, we'll never know...

Post a pic, tough guy ::)
-
I think that is pretty new because some gym company i read about custom supplied the 250's for that gym only recently...
-
I don't think Ronnie "delicately racks" any weights after a set.
And by the way, the previous pic of the three gay monkeys is friggin gross man! >:(
Watch the racism, fool ::)
-
god damn this site has turned into the most disgusting gay weightlifters ever
-
I think Brian Dobson had those specially made for Ronnie for his birthday a year or two ago

He'll just ignore the sign of "Please do not drop the weights"

metroflex has a sign that says "Feel free to yell, scream, and drop weights" - no joke

It got the pics dropped.......
-
Has he pressed those dumbells yet?
-
250's is nothing, kamali has rowed the 300's for repsssss.
-
Those are some serious dumbells!!!!
I wonder all those joints of his begging for mercy when he goes to bed at night....I don't think Advil can do shit at that point
-

Well, I bet everybody can if you row with 3 inches of movement

This is the worst way to view straps. The entire point of straps is to lift what your traps/shoulders/back will allow you to lift, not what you forearms will. Your forearms will always give out before that major muscle group will. If you want to get jacked foreams, just work them. Every time I hear this comment I shake my head. ::)

no doubt. i'd love to see the form on those 300lbs rows. Even ronnie rowing the 200s sounds stupid.

Now that's a gym!!!

for a while a tried to be "hardcore" and use no straps and all i got was tendinitis and carpal tunnel for having to grip the weights so hard.

Well thats great. Then I would think they would allow straps in competition too. Using straps to me is like wearing a bench shirt while working out or a squat suit. I am more of a guy who really wants to see how strong he can be. I took allot of pride in my forearm strength way back. I still do. It's fine if others like straps I was pointing out what I like or don't like. I just wouldn't use them.

For a one rep max, I understand why they wouldn't allow wraps in a competition. Making the choice not to use them is cool too, just know you hinder your progress due to ego.
Quick example: You can shrug 100lbs. for 10 without straps, and 15 reps with straps. Which is going to yield better gains for traps?
I'd say 15.

Makes total sense; after all Mr. Olympia HAS forearm strength round. :P
Oh sorry, it doesn't... it's just you getting some weird pleasure announcing you don't use straps. Glad it makes you feel better.

Bodybuilders that use straps, typically don't use them because they can't hold the weight. They use them to help isolate the muscle they are working (e.g. Back and Traps).

Don't everybody own Keith all at once now ;D
