my picture at the beach is at 330 and about 25%. I really dont even eat all that much. I was 6'1 230 as a high school freshmen. my goal is to compete at the Hawaii Paradise Cup next year. The heavyweights are usually weak as hell.

Lets say he's at 25%.
Getting to 10% would be a nice start, after getting into things. He would be very conditioned then, pretty ripped.
15% of 310 lbs... Approx 46 lbs. Lets add a few pounds, muscle waste or whatever. 50 lbs.
Which means he should be able to weigh in at around 260 lbs after a diet.
Realistically though, I think he should diet for maybe 3 months (12 weeks), which would put him somewhere at around the 275-280 lbs mark IMO. Then eat a lot through February, put on some weight, and then diet down for the summer 2007.

Im a trainer at 24 which I thought would help kick things up a notch, but boy was I wrong. I used to dream all day about going to the gym to lift, but now Im sick of being there all day and my workouts have suffered. The only good thing is that I can do splits. Today I did back before work, bi's on my break and cardio after work. Easy to get my meals in too.

Honestly, I think you should give bodybuilding a rest.
You got the perfect built for strongman.
I dunno if Odd Haugen still lives on Hawaii, but there should be some Strongman competitors around, guys who you could train with.
Regarding your natural choice: Since you will be a newcomer in the strongman sports, you would first need to learn the events and increase your skills in them.
Put off the decision another 24 months at least.
Remember: There are probably more money and more acceptance from the general public in Strongman than in any other strength sport.

I would love to compete, but for now I just want to improve my discipline. As far as strongman is concerned I am not sure how my body would respond. I have had a lot injuries from football days (torn arch, mcl tear, rotator cuff tear, wrist surgery and achilles tendinitis). I really would be happy looking like an off-season bodybuilder and I think that would help with my Personal Training career as well.

Try Fruity Loops (FL Studios) - supposed to be a Rebirth killer (if you can figure out the damn interface that is).

...it was fun for a while, but I found I REALLY SUCK AT MAKING MUSIC, so quit ;D ...it was bout 5 years ago, so I'm kinda out of it now too...
Ha I quit too, takes too long to do - I don't have time to spend an hour making a filter just right...

Cubase is what I use and I'm fairly deep into it. Used fruityloops a few weeks ago and it was the same crap as usual.
Not quit yet but i do have an ever increasing hole in my pockets not to mention a bounty of lights, dials and flashing stuff in this room :)

808 you will find that most of the guys on this board all want to look like Calvin Klein models, with 2% bodyfat. Its kinda girly if you ask me. Keep the football player build, looks better and you can maintain it easier.

My last day of high school I maxed 405 bench to set the school record and squated a parallel (not ass to the floor) 485. I was already 3 bills and only 17. Torn Rotator Cuff set me back a lot and 2 wrist surgeries too. At 17 I thought I'd be closer to 600lb bench and 700lb squat by now, but oh well the Dr.'s said I'd never hit 4 plates again. Shows what they know.
yesterday I benched and got 405 4 sets of 6. Hown much does a bench shirt add? I've never tried one and my friend wants me to enter his hometown show. he said the winner did 585 w/shirt.

You would probably be able to do a 545 lbs bench (with shirt) within a relatively short time if you put some effort into training with a shirt. You'd need to strengthen the joints and and become stronger in the lock out as well.
I see no reason for you to go on the juice.

Just get your ass down to 270-280, for the first diet. That's still 30-40 fcuking pounds to lose, and it will take some time to do it, if you want to it without losing muscle mass.
Estimate 15-16 weeks to get there IMO. Then bulk some before making a choice on what direction you want to take with your training, strongman or whatever.

Just get your ass down to 270-280, for the first diet. That's still 30-40 fcuking pounds to lose, and it will take some time to do it, if you want to it without losing muscle mass.
Estimate 15-16 weeks to get there IMO. Then bulk some before making a choice on what direction you want to take with your training, strongman or whatever.

There is little meaning in comparing yourself to someone else. I find inspiration in lots of different lifters and athletes on different levels.
This guy would probably need to get down to 250 or something to be real hard.
But he's fcuking strong. Using math is bollock IMO.
Nobody wants to see the lightweight lifters, there is a reason they lift during the early hours and during Thursday and Friday. And there is a reason why the heavy guys lift on Saturday and Sunday.
Sure, I'm respect lifters like Olech and Sivokon, probably the best lifters pound for pound ever. But they're not as strong as Siders or any of the other big guys.
How do I know this? Easy. Just by looking at the barbell.
There is no such thing as relative strength. Bring a Wilks table next time when you're out in clubs, but I doubt it will help you make your point in discussions on strength.
