Yeah, those pictures right now floating around are shitty taking to say the least and they are while I was in transition to doing another pose. People do have to breath you know.... Storm and his little buddy, Mikey purposely skipped over my geninue poses and put out whatever they thought was funny I suppose. I honestly don't care anymore because they're still brewing and talking trash about me still 3 days after the event and I'm as cool as a cucumber. It only shows their mental inferiority and true colors anyway.
I wasn't flopping around onstage and the reason I'm in that position in the picture was because I decided to have a little fun with the audience and started doing an air guitar and the audience loved it.
I'm sorry but I like to have fun at the night show unless its a close race and it really wasn't because the other person was much bigger and more conditioned than I was. Once I master getting rid of the water and getting dry onstage, I'll do much better but it takes time of course to develop and learn what works for your body. I'll always be my worst critic regarding my physique but so was Arnold. That's the best way to move ahead in achieving your goals, knowing what has to be done and simply do it. I worked on putting more muscle mass on as well as improving the back chest and abs which is simply what I did. I intend on hitting the biceps harder as well as work on final contest prep conditioning which I'll consult with a specialist on because it was my main issue this time.
I'll be back around again soon but right now I'm just chilling out until the REAL PICTURES come in. I just want people to simply see who I was going against.

Couldn't get out of the country. Staph infection unfortunately so I'm dropping out of the Clash and Elite and will wait to compete next year. In the meantime, I'm doing light training and minimal cardio work.

That Melvin shows up here to duel with the lads shows the guy has a heart. No one can defeat him because he is invincible. I would love to see his trophy collection, though. And there it is! Vince, since infections caused by staph. aureus are skin infections, where, oh where, is the point of entry? I mean, the white trunks were distracting, but something like that would have readily visible. I mean, I don't think anyone spotted boils, impetigo, cellulitis or hordeolums on you diring the show. When I was at the Bodyrock in July, I talked to Jan Tana and she said the Pro Tan combined with the old Jan Tana bronzer gave me the greenish hue... That shit was disturbing!
This time around, I'm using her new Onstage Competition Color. Several friends have used it since she debuted it earlier this year and it looks as good as airbrushing.

I love when Melvin replies to his fans and gives them a good lashing. Now that we know there is a master plan who can stop the Goodrum train? It will happen and for that the lads should be forever grateful. This dude is no flash in the pan but a stayer. One day we will marvel at the entity called Dr Goodrum and applaud his successes on the posing platform and in business. For Melvin Goodrum in no ordinary bloke. He has qualities that will guarantee he will always draw attention to himself here on Getbig. We should be encouraging Melvin and not castigate him for what can only be described as misfortunes. There he is a solitary figure transcending his ordinary past and building an empire on line to show all naysayers what can be done by dedication and believing in oneself. Trophies mean little to this mortal and for good reason. The stellar qualities that shine are in his character and he is truly invincible and well he lives up the the noble name 'Vince'. At first I thought Goodrum was a sham but in a more accurate assessment of the person we see qualities seldom exhibited by the rank and file who come to Getbig to reinvent themselves. Anyone who can keep his head up high after being laughed at here has to be special. It is not obliviousness or thickheadedness, although those qualities do help, but a nobility of purpose. This man has a destiny and there is no one who can stop what nature determines. The Alpha people rise to the top and cannot be flushed away as some would like. Let us hope that Melvin 'Vince' Goodrum, CSN. MFT, continues to contribute on Getbig and enhance us all with his intelligence, honesty and commitment. We are unlikely to see his kind again and I for one am improved by basking in the light he shines on this rather self-indulgent excuse for a community.

I did find it strange with Arvilla having less shows under his belt than I do but it doesn't make a difference. People know who I am and my goal is to win a natural pro card. I came in at that show around 195 pounds so once I control the final week prep conditioning, I can realistically come into an INBF event at 185 pounds and really have the size advantage. I'd rather not do NPC events as they aren't drug tested and I'm more likely to get blown out of the water but I do them for the experience more or less since the majority of natural shows are a good distance.

You have to control more than the final week prep conditioning to come in any type of decent shape... try an extra 8 weeks of dieting minimum to the 8 or 12 you claimed to have done for this last show. I did 18 weeks for my last show which I felt was quite long enough for myself... in the past I have done 20 to 26 weeks of dieting. Why do you think you need less? Take a close look at your pics and honestly evaluate your conditioning. Don't tell me you don't need more.
Please drop the last week excuse.

Excuses??? that's what it is but I'm consulting with someone who definitely knows how to win bodybuilding shows so next round out. Its going to cost me a lot of money (About 2000 dollars for fees and travel) but it's money well invested.

No-one has seen THE REAL PICS yet. Those pictures are blurry, distorted, and were taken in transition to my next pose. My stomach is out because I have to breath from time to time. I could put them up, but I want the pictures of me against my opponent up first so people can see who I had to deal with. He of course did win the overall naturally as he pretty much blew everyone out of the water.
I was hold some water under the skin and my condition wasn't great but I wasn't out of shape and the pictures will prove it. Its very hard to naturally get rid of water under the skin. If I wanted to, I could have simply took some Lasix and I would have kicked ass onstage. But of course I didn't.
Like I said before, whether I get the stars or not isn't important. My intentions of competing is to show I'm a man of action rather than lipservice and that I made some great improvements from 2 years ago which I could not have done if I wasn't training hard and heavy. My trophy is good enough for me and I intend on winning a show or two in the future
Remember, I don't have the luxury of using steroids so I have to train and diet much harder. Big difference between me, you, Arvilla, etc.

What we have here is a bloke with more than his share of bad luck. When he found out there was only one other competitor in the Junior Hwts division he had to compete. He inspected those trophies and knew visitors to his premises would be unaware of Getbig and the nonsense that goes on here. No matter what you throw at Goodrum he comes up smelling like a rose. The guy is priceless!

Try to do more weighted pullups and rows, heavy to moderate weight with strict form to feel the muscle. Rep between 4-12, for 2 sets after warming up, cycling rep scheme 4-8 and 8-12 every few weeks. Focus hard on the muscle to feel the tension and burn. This advice is pure gold if applied. Of course the nutrition, rest and right supp to be there as well.

It will happen and for that the lads should be forever grateful. This dude is no flash in the pan but a stayer. This man has a destiny and there is no one who can stop what nature determines. The Alpha people rise to the top and cannot be flushed away as some would like. Let us hope that Melvin 'Vince' Goodrum, CSN. MFT, continues to contribute on Getbig and enhance us all with his intelligence, honesty and commitment. The Junior division is for guys who know they are not quite ready for the open competition but are not novices. From what Goodrum has posted it is clear that others do not play fair and have enterred the Jr division when they should have been in the open division. He is naturally withholding evidence and will post photos when others acknowledge it wasn't a level playing field. Goodrum has never been wrong when it comes to injustice and it is about time others stood up to the plate when he is at bat and being thrown dirty pitches.

Many of us were wondering if we were going to be wearing mud on our faces if Melvin produced the goods. What resulted was more of the same and Only me was on the money. Goodrum showed us nothing new except for some calf development. He is even too scared to post photos of himself to show us the 'transformation'. There was no transformation. That is the truth. How we saw nothing much of that contest after all the attention is a worry about Getbig. Surely we all have an obligation to report on local events especially when someone the calibre of Goodrum turns up in white posing trunks. That won't happen again. The official photos haven't been released and Goodrum is keeping his photos safely on his computer where they can't do any harm to him. This whole saga is a complete farce and Goodrum has no standing on Getbig as a bodybuilder. He dismissed my performances from the past and now that seems rather insipid because we have yet to see the superiority that his Pilates machine delivered. The unadulterated truth is Goodrum is a sham, plain and simple. That has now been proven beyond doubt and we have to read Goodrum's post with the respect they deserve.....which is almost zero.

Vince watched "the ultimate fighter 4" last week and heard about staph infection. He thought he would use that as an excuse.

"My gf did the figure and confirmed evderything Storm and the others said about backstage. She said he was bouncing around, getting pumped up over the course of more than 2 hours! She said "I don't know why he bothered, I didn't think you could get a pump in fat!"
She also said Vince is one creepy mofo and the figure girls that weren't laughing at him were genuinely scared of him."

Thought I'd drop one last line before I'm off on vacation.
First off, I didn't pump up for 2 hours straight. I simply keep pumped from time to time since the Jr class went on late. And yes I was using my push up bars and most of the other competitors were using them as well to including Storm who problably didn't realize that they belong to me. I also let people borrow the extra Hot Stuff, Posing Oil, Bronze Cream, toning bands, that I brought along as well. I'm sure that you used my push-up bars as well because everyone else did. Some of you folks like yourself Aido refused to help any competitors put any oil on when the help staff wasn't there yet. I did however gave a hand and took care of some of the folks.
You folks can call me asshole on the internet boards but in real life, I'm actually a nice guy who isn't an asshole in not people use any stuff I have.
Even if competitors were laughing behind my back, so what?? Only cowards do things like that. I would seriously doubt that happenned as most of them thanked me for giving them a hand in putting on their posing oil or letting them borrow my supplies or equipment. If they did have an issue with me beyond that, then they have issue that go beyond me.
I sorry if you folks don't understand but none of you will never stop me no matter what you say about me. You can put up morphed pictures, make horrible comments, talk about my family...etc. Doesn't matter. I feed off your hatred and obsession with me. The more you talk, the bigger and better I get. I take it all to the gym and release that negative energy through the weights.
Eventually, I will be a destroyer on the bodybuilding stage and that's something you'll have to deal with because it will come together one day for me. I was better this year than in 2004 and even though I'm my own worst critic, I'm still glad that I was better and I'll continue the training and next time be even better than before. And I will do it drug-free without the use of steroids.
My spirit and soul is too powerful to ever yield to the negative remarks anyone makes and it is the only thing I need to become a great bodybuilder. It will happen because I will make it so.
