You guys are forgetting a ton of old schoolers - Mike Katz had below average arms, Zane had 17" arms at his peak, Jusup Wilcosz, even the "Blonde Bomber" had small arms for a pro.

Proportionately speaking, Zane's arms were not small, much like Baccianini pictured in this thread had arms that were probably 14in, they didnt look small when viewed in relation to his physique.

Here you go - check out the one of Katz training - they can't be more than 16.5"!!!

The other is Draper....albeit he's older, but still....

Oh, I agree completely - I personally think that Zane had one of the best Olympia physiques ever - he proved that you did not have to be a huge monster without looking fantastic. He was awesome and I wish that pro bodybuilding would go back to that look, somewhat.

Yeah you're right - the reason I posted that one is because he was training for the 75 Olympia and his arms don't look like much in that pic....here' s a better one of him in '72....not too bad!

relative to his frame, Dorian Yates in 1992 when he won his first Olympia were pretty damn small:

his legs, calves and torso are so oversized for these things back then.
