I've got at least 7 guys working the program and THEY ARE LOVING IT.  All of them are getting great results.

There are some adjustments I've done recently to those I got on HST, one of them being dropping the 15's altogether.

One thing I think everyone on HST ought to try, is to do 4-5 excersises per workout, and alternate between two workouts.

I also have longer rest periods between sets these days, even at the lighter workouts.

I tried it and had good gains but my back is vunerable to injury and with the amount of squats I found my back begin to feel lke something was about to go, and I simply cannot leave out squats from my workouts.

I was initially extremely impressed by it though.

6-8 sets of squats (not including warm ups) per week gave you problems?  ???

Very true.

I don't believe in tweaking a protocol just for the hell of it, but real life experience has suggested some changes.

IMO, it seems like the original layout, with 2 weeks of 15,10,5 and 5negs are used by very few on the HST board.

Fewer excersises and more focus on the "bigger" weeks seems to be what works best.

I'll give ya that ~ however, as a beginner to the HST protocol, starting with the basic layout works well...  :-*
