If all the shit this guy said was true, your question is answered in the post. If he was a 260 lb competitive bodybuilder before he did this challenge, with drugs , and proper diet, it could be done. There is such a thing a muscle memory. Look at Kevin Levrone. He shrunk in the offseason, but got all his gains back once he hit the sauce, and started training hard. He could do this because the base he built for years with hard training, and juice. His muscle was previously  established.

If this guy had the base he says he did, and hit the sauce, what he claimed is possible. Without the base, No way. Totally impossible, even if you are on juice.
Exactly!

here's my opinion on this:

Joe average could never in a million years put on 44lbs of "mass" in 10 weeks.  By mass I mean lean muscle tissue.  Never.  Sorry but 99.9% of the guys on this board would never be able to do this-with or without roids.

The only people who could ever hope to achieve results like this would have to be buys that are almost pure mesmorphs, in that they would have to have those broad ass shoulders, small waist and extremely long muscle bellies.  Plus they would have to know exactly what they were supposed to be eating.  They would have to be training heavy and hard as hell and if they decided to do roids they'd have to know exactly what they are doing there also.

Realistilcally the only guy who I can think of who could have done something like this is Viator, he has the perfect type of body to achieve these kind of results, he's almost a pure mesporph and he has some of the thickest and longest muscles ever.  The training he did with Arthur Jones was brutal-I've read countless articles about these sessions and they are awsome.  Did Viator do it naturally?  C'mon now, don't be niave.

I consider myself to have decent genetics and after being in "cruise" mode for a couple of years I went balls out last summer starting at the end of july, I trained harder and heavier than ever.  130lbs db's, maxed out the hammer row machine...just busted my balls and ate like a f'n horse and I got 12lbs in 10 weeks, could someone else do better?  Sure they could but let's assume that I'm the average or a little above average and all I got was 12lbs of LBM, do you honestly think anyone could triple my gains?  No way.
