Yeah, even after Milos' killer leg workout I'm not sore (the more I say that, the more nervious I get for our next leg workout cuz I just know he's gonna murder me and humble me). I love doing legs. It's my favorite body part.
But I won't do 405 any time soon. Sorry PF!, I'll stick to what makes my physique grow, not my ego.
my gym is mostly guys...soo no ego training..
anyhow..i'm all for quality of contraction...i've been preaching this on getbig even when i wasn't training..but some take it too far..
there needs to be a balance between the 2..ie progressive resistance and progressive quality of contraction..
ie a balance between how heavy ya go and how effeciently you can train the muscle with a given weight (of course the latter being easier with relatively light weight)
once one gets used to using heavier weights..... 4 months later the same heavy weights can be used as your squeeze weights..
