Yeah, even after Milos' killer leg workout I'm not sore (the more I say that, the more nervious I get for our next leg workout cuz I just know he's gonna murder me and humble me). I love doing legs. It's my favorite body part.

But I won't do 405 any time soon. Sorry PF!, I'll stick to what makes my physique grow, not my ego.



my gym is mostly guys...soo no ego training..

anyhow..i'm all for quality of contraction...i've been preaching this on getbig even when i wasn't training..but some take it too far..

there needs to be a balance between the 2..ie progressive resistance and progressive quality of contraction..

ie a balance between how heavy ya go and how effeciently you can train the muscle with a given weight (of course the latter being easier with relatively light weight)

once one gets used to using heavier weights..... 4 months later the same heavy weights can be used as your squeeze weights..

i almost seriously injured myself while squatting cause my spotter (who i picked cause he ws also training legs) ws staring out at the lake outside the gym window while i ws squatting..<chantilly VA golds>

i pretty much half squatted ..half good morninged out of the hole..

my left lower ab hurt bad after but feels fine now..we'll see how sore my lower back is tomorrow..


i didn't even finish ..i just grabbed my keys and slow walked out of the gym pissed off.. >:(



When I can't do full reps on my own I do partial and negatives. Of course you don't really need a spotter for that. Haven't used  a spotter in over 10 years. You know exactly how much you can do on your own WITHOUT a spotter and with the decline in the popularity of bodybuilding fewer people train hardcore and know what the hell they're doing. I'm gonna trust some jagg off who's talking on his cell to spot me while Ive got 400+ pounds on the bench? Pass. Also it's annoying to have people ASK you to spot them and I'd rather not feel obligated to return the favor. I'll get a few more reps with a lighter weight on my own, thanks :)
