Closing gap on chest
« on: June 24, 2007, 11:50:21 AM »
My chest muscle development is rounded at the bottom.  Outside of simple genetics, are there exercises that would help to "square" of the chest, bring the split straight down?

Thanks

I doubt it man, thats like asking to increase the length of the lateral head of your triceps, or trying to change the insertion point of your quads.

It doesn't mean you cant have good looking pecs though

I can help you with my scalpel

I've helped numerous bodybuilders achieve a better bicep peak with just a scalpel, some alcohol and a tube of super glue

A pec should be no problem either

One big thing is bodyfat.  When I was at a higher bodyfat my chest looked like shit.  I thought I had bad genetics or weak points and to some degree I do but once I lost all the fat my chest looked much more defined.

Yes.  It rounds away at the bottom.  Now I am currently at 15% bodyfat and carry some of it around the breast tissue...genetics, my dad and brothers do as well.  I'm not 100% certain how the muscle will look if I can get down to 10 or 9% (my goal).  I'm not near a gym for the next month so this is all speculation b ut Im thinking that cable crossover's where my hands cross not just meet might give me some added size as I can feel the inner chest muscle respond more when I do the movement.
